Want to make a little extra cash this weekend? We’ve got a great opportunity that pretty much anyone can take advantage of, right now. Whole Foods is currently selling a Owala water bottles in the limited edition color “Rosy Dreams”. Collectors are already fiending for these, and we’ve seen reports of stores selling out their inventory in just a few hours. Now resellers are listing the bottles online for than double what Whole Foods charges.

But Stanley is not the only water bottle brand that resells. Competitors like HydroJug and Owala have stepped in to take a bite out of Stanley’s pie, and they’re succeeding. Owala’s collector-focused “Color Drops” series is centered around limited edition tumblers that sell out fast.

Earlier this week, Owala tapped Whole Foods for a new release. “Rosy Dreams” Owala bottles are the latest and greatest in rare tumblers; available in-person only at Whole Foods locations and in limited numbers.

What you see is what you get. It’s a pink tumbler, available only in 32oz for $33. These are slightly cheaper than comparable Stanley tumblers, and Owala touts their triple-layer insulation and lead-free design over competing brands.

And… that’s pretty much it. Limited edition bottles, only available at Whole Foods. While you might think that’s not much, it’s definitely enough for these bottles to resell.

Shocking, we know. Even after all this time spent covering various “””collectable””” water bottles, we’re always a little surprised to see something so mundane actually sell out resell online, but we’re not ones to look a gift horse (girl) in the mouth.

Anyways, Rosy Dreams Owala bottles from Whole Foods are reselling for anywhere from $50 to $80 right now. We’ve seen plenty of sales over the last week, although they do look to be slowing down a bit.

While these are a limited edition bottle, we’ve seen reports on social media that Whole Foods is continuously restocking the bottles as they sell out. There will be a limited amount on the shelf each day, so go early if you want to snag a few.
