Key Points

  • The BTS Official Light Stick Ver.4 retails for $69 at Target and is selling out across stores nationwide

  • Units are reselling for $150 and up on eBay, more than double retail

  • Starting June 12, Ver.4 is the only light stick that will sync wirelessly at BTS concerts

BTS just dropped their first album in four years, and ARMY is losing their minds. The Arirang comeback has sent fans scrambling for official merch, and the Ver.4 light stick is the one thing everyone needs right now. If you can find one at retail, you’re sitting on a clean double-up. It’s worth checking stores near for your stock, especially if you’re in a more rural area.

BTS Army Bomb Ver. 4

For the uninitiated: the BTS Official Light Stick Ver.4, also known as the ARMY Bomb, is the official concert light stick used by fans at BTS shows. At concerts, a venue-wide light controller syncs all the sticks via Bluetooth, turning the crowd into a single programmable light show. Outside of concerts, the stick can be used in “Self Mode” through the companion app, letting fans customize colors and lighting patterns from their phone.

The Ver.4 is the first new version in nearly six years, arriving as BTS launches their Arirang World Tour this April. It features upgraded Bluetooth, expanded LED color options, and a new transparent globe design. It also comes with seven instant photos of the members, which is an upgrade fans have been asking for for a while.

Here’s the part that matters for resellers: there’s a hard deadline attached to this thing. Through May 28, 2026, older Ver.3 and Special Edition light sticks will still sync at concerts. Starting June 12, 2026 in Busan, only Ver.4 will connect wirelessly. Fans attending shows in the second half of the tour have no choice but to upgrade. That’s a built-in, time-pressured buyer pool that doesn’t go away until after the tour ends.

How to Get a BTS Light Stick Ver. 4

The Target product page shows out of stock online, but in-store availability varies by location. Your best shot right now is using Target’s store locator to check nearby stores before making a trip. Inventory moves fast and isn’t being restocked quickly online.

The light stick is currently sold out through the Weverse Shop, though additional restocks are likely. The Ver.4 cradle and interchangeable parts accessories are only available through Weverse and are sold separately from the light stick itself.

Units are currently listed and selling on eBay at $150 and up. At that price, you’re clearing roughly $60 after eBay’s fees on a $69 buy. If demand tightens and sales push toward $200, that margin climbs to around $114 per unit.

This is a pop-culture-meets-functional-necessity flip, which is a strong combination. Fans who missed the initial drop on Weverse in February, or who couldn’t find a unit at Target, are motivated buyers. The concert deadline gives the secondary market a longer tail than a typical collector item since demand won’t fade until the tour wraps.

The risk here is availability. If Target restocks meaningfully in the coming weeks, or if Weverse opens up more inventory before the tour, secondary market prices could soften. Quantity limits at Target appear loose based on community reports, so if you find a stocked store, it may be worth picking up multiple units.

Target’s 90-day return policy applies to this item, which gives you some cushion if the market moves against you.
