The limited-edition Cereal-ously Cinnamon Coffee retails for $17.99 per 12 oz pouch, online only
The collab drops March 21 at 7 a.m. CT exclusively through Bones Coffee’s website while supplies last
Limited edition food collabs can resell for solid profits after selling out
Bones Coffee has built a pretty dedicated following around its limited-edition flavored roasts and collab packaging, and this one pairs the brand with a nostalgic name that has broader appeal than most. The Cinnamon Pebbles x Bones Coffee “Cereal-ously Cinnamon” drop is a one-and-done online release hitting tomorrow morning. At $17.99, the buy-in is low enough that flipping even one or two bags for $40 to $50 each makes it worth watching.
Bones Coffee is a Florida-based small-batch roaster known for bold flavored coffees and highly collectible limited releases, including past collabs with Star Wars, SpongeBob, and Disney’s Nightmare Before Christmas. This time around, the brand has teamed up with Post Consumer Brands to celebrate the nationwide launch of Cinnamon Pebbles cereal.
The result is a 100% Arabica medium roast flavored with cinnamon and vanilla, meant to replicate the sweetened milk left at the bottom of a cereal bowl. It comes in co-branded collectible packaging featuring the Pebbles characters.
The coffee is allergen-free, keto-friendly, and sugar-free, which broadens its potential buyer pool beyond the collector market. A one-day pop-up café in Chicago’s West Loop on March 21 is also part of the launch, where attendees can snag a free bag while supplies last.
This is a low-cost, low-risk opportunity with modest upside. At $18 retail, resellers would need to flip their bags for upwards of $40 to make a decent profit. This seems likely, as limited edition food collabs can be pretty lucrative with enough hype behind their launch.
The ceiling could be higher if the Pebbles nostalgia angle catches social media attention or if stock sells out quickly. Bones Coffee has a loyal community that watches these drops, and the Flintstones IP gives this one broader recognition than an indie gaming collab or a niche horror tie-in would. Still, no sold comps exist yet and demand is unproven, so treat this as a light play rather than going deep.
If you’re interested, head to Bones Coffee’s website on March 21 at 7 a.m. CT. The collab will be listed under the limited edition section. No purchase limits have been announced, so grab a few bags if you want to test the market. Shipping will eat into margins on a $17.99 item, so factor that in when pricing your listings.
