Bethesda just gave Fallout fans a shinier way to strap a nuclear-era computer to their arm. The Pip-Boy 3000 Overseer’s Edition debuted at QuakeCon this week, swapping the franchise’s usual scuffed green casing for the pristine gold worn by Hank in Season 2 of the Fallout TV series. It’s die-cast metal up front, packs a working screen loaded with new animations, and even ships with a 40-piece mind control chip kit for the cosplay crowd. The catch for flippers is that the number Bethesda picked this time is a lot higher than what past Pip-Boy replicas got, so don’t expect the same scarcity that fueled prior resells.
