Key Points

  • The LEGO Brick Clog retailed for $150 and sold out across all nine sizes within hours of launching

  • Current resale prices average around $220

  • This is the first release in a multi-year partnership between LEGO and Crocs, with more drops planned through 2026

What if stepping on a LEGO wasn’t a painful experience, but a pleasant one? Crocs asked that question today by releasing a limited number of bright red LEGO brick shaped classic clogs (that still look pretty uncomfortable.) All of the shoes sold out fast through Crocs’ and LEGO’s websites, and now resellers are making a quick buck by flipping them to folks that missed out.

LEGO Crocs Official Collaboration

LEGO and Crocs announced their multi-year partnership back in January, promising to celebrate “bold and unapologetic creativity.” The first product to drop from this collaboration is the LEGO Brick Clog, which transforms the classic Croc silhouette into an oversized wearable LEGO brick.

Each clog is molded to look like a massive red LEGO brick, complete with four studded bumps on top stamped with the LEGO logo and a brick-textured sole on the bottom. The whole thing weighs about 1.4 kg (3 lbs) per shoe and is made of hard foam rather than the usual soft Crocs material. They debuted at Paris Fashion Week on rapper Tommy Cash, and the internet immediately lost its mind.

The package includes a LEGO minifigure sporting its own pair of miniature Crocs made from actual 2×2 and 1×1 LEGO plates. While the minifigure isn’t exclusive, it’s a fun novelty touch that adds collectible value to an already bizarre product.

The LEGO Brick Clogs launched on February 16 at 1 PM PST. Available in sizes M5 to M13 (W7 to W15), adult sizes only for this initial drop. Within hours of launch, the Brick Clog was completely sold out on across all nine sizes in the UK, US, and Europe.

There was some initial pricing confusion. LEGO first listed these at $199.99, then corrected to the official $149.99 price point that Crocs had advertised. Either way, at $150 retail, this was already priced at the collectible tier compared to most novelty Crocs that retail for $50-80.

LEGO Crocs Resell

Current resale prices are sitting around $220 on eBay and other platforms. After fees, you’re looking at about $41 profit per pair before shipping costs. Not the massive margins some were hoping for, but a consistent flip if you managed to secure pairs.

LEGO Crocs Classic Clog for Sale

The modest multiples make sense when you consider the context. At $150 retail, this required significant capital commitment compared to typical Crocs flips. The Microsoft Windows XP Crocs started as employee-only exclusives at $80 and hit $150-200 on secondary markets. The Xbox Classic Crocs followed similar patterns at lower retail price points.

This was also a public release on two major websites, not an employee exclusive or limited raffle. Higher retail availability typically means lower resale multiples, even when items sell out quickly.

The partnership announcement mentioned this is just the beginning, with multiple product launches through 2026 including Crocs’ largest licensed assortment of unique Jibbitz charms. Future releases might drive interest back to the OG brick clogs as the partnership’s first product.

Bottom Line

At $220 resale on $150 retail, this is a modest but consistent flip. After fees, you’re clearing about $40 per pair, which is decent if you copped multiple sizes but not enough to retire on.

The real play here is probably the hold. As the first product from a multi-year LEGO x Crocs partnership, these brick clogs have collectible appeal beyond just footwear. If the partnership produces heat down the line, these originals could appreciate significantly.

Keep in mind this is final sale only at retail, so if you bought to flip and can’t move them, you’re stuck with literal building blocks for your feet. Make peace with that possibility before you buy.

For those who missed the drop, watch for potential restocks. Neither brand has confirmed this is limited edition, so more pairs could surface. Otherwise, you’re looking at paying the $220 premium if you want to stomp around in LEGO bricks.
