Rockstar dropped GTA VI: The Album on streaming today, pairing original tracks from Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, and even Keith Richards with a companion piece for vinyl collectors: two liquid-filled records built for display as much as spinning. It’s the kind of physical GTA VI collectible fans have been begging for even before Rockstar confirmed the game itself is going digital-only. Whether “limited edition” actually means limited is pretty unclear, but there’s real money to be made here if resellers move fast and stack orders while they can.

GTA 6: The Album Limited Edition Vinyl

The limited-edition vinyl pairs two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid, packaged in artwork built to match GTA VI’s Vice City and Leonida look.

The tracklist runs 34 songs deep, with Yung Lean, Rauw Alejandro, Fred again.., and Morgan Wallen rounding out the names already listed on the artists’ feature. At $124.98, it’s the priciest of the three physical formats Rockstar is offering, alongside a standard black vinyl and a CD.

Rockstar still hasn’t announced a GTA VI Collector’s Edition, leaving this vinyl as the closest thing to an official physical collectible fans can buy right now.

GTA 6 Limited Edition vinyl is expected to ship November 20, one day after the game’s official launch date.

Why GTA 6 Vinyl Could Resell

This isn’t the first time Rockstar has done something like this. In 2014, they released a collector-grade vinyl collection for GTA 5’s soundtrack limited to just 5,000 units. Those bundles resell today for over $400.

Of course, that’s not exactly a fair comparison. While we don’t know exactly how many copies of the GTA 6 limited edition vinyl collection will be made, it’s definitely more than 5,000.

Realistically, we could see these flipping for $200 to $300, totalling up to around $100 in profit per bundle sold. Considering you can buy up to four of these vinyl collections, the math looks pretty good for resellers.

The real risk is supply. Ten hours without selling out isn’t a great sign, and it strongly indicates Rockstar is producing these to order rather than selling a strictly limited number of copies. The upside is that this isn’t final sale. Rockstar allows a full refund, minus shipping fees, within 30 days of delivery, which caps the downside at eating shipping both ways if these end up sitting.

Note that preorders cannot be canceled once placed. If you want to back out you’ll need to file for a return after your vinyl is delivered. Still, with the safety net offered, grabbing a few while preorders are live seems worth the modest risk. Just don’t expect a $500 flip.
