Heinz Mustaaaaaard is One Hot Condiment

So, how was your 4th of July? This weekend marked record consumption of beer, hot dogs, and condiments like ketchup and mustard. If you’ve still got some room in your stomach for that sweet yellow burn, check out today’s flip.

Back in February, Heinz announced they would be working with Mustard on his very own line of mustard. This came shortly after the release of Kendrick Lamar’s single “TV Off”, where he (literally) shouts out Mustard during the chorus.

That became a meme, which was then naturally parlayed into various corporate deals, this collab among them. Anyways, we didn’t have a lot of info on the Heinz Mustard X Mustard collab at the time. The promotional video featured a jewel-studded mustard bottle that had a lot of resellers interested.

Fast forward to June and Heinz has finally rolled out the collection, labeling it as Heinz “Mustaaaaaard” Honey Chipotle Mustard. The condiment is set to release in stores later this month.

But if you’re looking to get an early taste, you’re in luck. Right now, Heinz Mustard X Mustard “Mustaaaaaard” is available at Buffalo Wild Wings with the purchase of …beef. Beef?

And while the bottles are slated to hit stores some time this month, not everyone has the patience to wait. In fact, some people are so desperate to get their hands on a bottle that we’re seeing them resell.

Right now, Heinz X Mustard “Mustaaaaaard” bottles are reselling for around $30. Eating out might not be cheap, but that still pencils out to net profit after subtracting the cost of your BWW meal.

This would be a pretty lucrative flip if you had an inside source at Buffalo Wild Wings willing to sell you the bottles in bulk, but most of us aren’t that lucky.

In any case, we can clearly see that there’s demand for Heinz’ Mustard X Mustard collaboration, so we’re excited to see how the full collection rolls out for retail sale. Details are still scarce, so stay tuned for more information.

We’re particularly interested in the jeweled bottle of mustard that was revealed in the original promo video. It’s unclear if this is a real product or just something they spun up for the ad. If Heinz does end up producing collectable bottles for the collaboration, don’t hesitate to buy.
