These products and prices are very similar to MTG’s Collector boosters

Into the Inkdark’s new Collector Boosters, the ones stuffed with all-foil cards and a shot at pulling a card serialized to just 23 copies, finally have official pricing. The numbers land right where the trading card world expected, deep in premium territory that mirrors what other big TCGs charge for their own collector-tier packs. Ravensburger is telling everyone exactly who this product is built for, and it’s not the average player cracking packs on a Tuesday night.

Lorcana Into the Inkdark Set Details

Ravensburger confirmed pricing for the Into the Inkdark Collector Booster line earlier today. Individual packs will carry a $35 MSRP, while Collector Booster boxes holding all 12 packs will retail for $420.

That works out to the same per-pack cost whether someone buys singles or the full box, with no bulk discount built in. We covered the Illustrious reveal back in August when Ravensburger first showed off the format at D23, and today’s numbers track closely with what MTG charges for its own premium collector packs on high-demand sets. Into the Inkdark releases in Q1 2027, with Collector Booster boxes and packs specifically slated for February 12.

Six Illustrious cards will ship in this set, each capped at just 23 numbered copies worldwide. Serialized chase cards in Magic and other trading card games have sold for four and five figures when the pull is scarce and the character is recognizable, and a numbered Maleficent card checks that box.

Distribution is tight by design too. Collector Boosters will only be sold through Ravensburger Play Hub stores, the Ravensburger online store, and select Disney locations, cutting out most of the local game shops that normally carry Lorcana product. That’s good news for anyone who manages to source at MSRP, and bad news for anyone hoping to walk into a shop and grab a box off the shelf.

Into the Inkdark is still slated for release in Q1 of 2027. Additional information like early access or preorder windows has not been disclosed. Stay tuned for more details from Ravensburger, and be ready to pick up product as soon as it goes live.
