In the latest twist in card collecting, limited edition slab guards from GradedGuard are now reselling. The company has been producing these in regular drops for some time now, and the latest “Fruit Punch” and “Confetti” variants are very popular. We’re already seeing them resell for tidy profits, so stay tuned for more details on their next drop.

Limited Edition GradedGuard Fruit Punch & Confetti

So first, what is GradedGuard, and why are people flipping their products? GradedGuard is a specialist manufacturer that produces cases for slabs from grading houses like PSA and BGS.

After you get your cards graded, you can simply slide the slab into one of these productive guards to protect it from falls or harsh impacts. As a bonus, the guards are produced in a wide variety of colors and patterns that can match or accent the card’s artwork.

Let’s install your GradedGuard! (The right way! 😃) We get a lot of questions about why the clear plastic backing is placed on the back and not on the front of the card, so let’s answer that for you! These were originally designed to fit like your phone case fits your phone, protective sides and a backing with an open front! Unlike a phone, graded cards are sealed differently which needed to be taken into consideration for installing and removing. On PSA graded cards, installing the GradedGuard backwards makes it so the lip around the case is gripping on to the edge of the top portion of the slab. What this does is make it very difficult to remove as it is gripping a flat edge vs the rounded edge on the front of the slab. This can also run the risk of stressing the seal since pressure is only being applied to the front portion of the slab, and you’re essentially pulling the two pieces of the slab (front and back) apart from each other. BGS and CGC slabs are constructed and behave differently. Nevertheless, installing them backwards will make them less flush/secure. Additionally, they won’t stack as intended! If you want to protect the front, check out our FlexFilm which is a “screen protector” for your slab! We have them for PSA, BGS, and CGC! Thanks for coming to our TED Talk, and of course for all of the support we receive from each of you everyday! #GradedGuard #tcg #tradingcards #collector #fyp #pokemon

If you think about how much a highly-graded card can be worth, it’s no surprise that collectors are willing to fork over a few extra bucks to keep it safe.

GradedGuard also produces a limited edition “Color Drops” series with exclusive designs and materials. These usually release on a monthly basis, with the latest two “Fruit Punch” and “Confetti” dropping earlier this week.

GradedGuard Fruit Punch Confetti Limited Edition

As you can see, these guards offer a splash of color and sparkle in either red or gold. GradedGuard sells their limited edition guards for $18, with both of these editions selling out quickly.

And just like anything else card-related and moderately collectable, these limited edition guards are reselling. Both are quite popular, although the Confetti guards are making up the bulk of the sales.

Right now, GradedGuard Fruit Punch and Confetti guards are reselling for around $40, with lot sales of 4 ranging from $150 to $200 at a time. Confetti is reselling for slightly higher prices, but both are consistently profitable.

GradedGuard Confetti Fruit Punch for Sale

If you bought four of each card and sold them for optimal profits, you stood to make around $150 in profit from a single drop. We’ll take that deal any day of the week, especially considering it took about five minutes of clicking to secure the bag.
