Taco Bell and Uber Eats are collaborating to make a breakfast cereal
Cinnamon Twist Cereal is exclusively available through Uber Eats in select cities
Resellers are flipping them for $20 to $30
If you’re anything like us, then most of your mornings start with a trip to Taco Bell for breakfast. If it’s good enough for Pete Davidson, then it’s good enough for us. Well, this week marks another huge win for fast foodies, because Taco Bell is rolling out a special line of breakfast cereals as a collaboration with Uber Eats. Customers in a limited number of cities can pick up a box for little to no cost in the next couple days, and many of them are already reselling.
America is built on sugar. Well, sugar and Tex-Mex. Up until now, there hasn’t been a company bold enough, innovator crazy enough, or marketer clever enough to bridge these worlds.
But 2024 is a new year, and the winds of change are blowing. Enter, Taco Bell Cinnamon Twists cereal.
Based on the dessert item of the same way, Taco Bell’s new cereal is a sugary, cinnamony, crunchy option for your next breakfast. If you’re already DoorDashing most of your food, why should the most important meal of the day be any different?
Taco Bell announced the new cereal this week as part of a collaboration with Uber Eats. We haven’t tasted any yet, but we have a pretty good idea of the flavor.
This is not your average, pedestrian cereal that can be found in a grocery store, or even on the menu at Taco Bell. Instead, you’ll need to order a box exclusively through Uber Eats.
Taco Bell is rolling out in this cereal in several phases. It first went live on January 16, and for the next two days it was only available to Uber One members for free.
Now the promotion has opened to customers in a limited number of American cities. If you make a Taco Bell breakfast order before 11 A.M. through Uber Eats, you’ll have the option to add a mini-box of Cinnamon Twists cereal.
Participating cities are:
On January 23, the top 500 Taco Bell Rewards members will receive a free box as part of next week’s Tuesday Drops.
If you don’t live in a participating area or order enough Taco Bell to get a free box, Taco Bell is throwing you a bone. Until the 22nd, customers across the country can redeem a $5 off coupon and a free order of Cinnamon Twists with any breakfast order over $15.
Because of the new Taco Bell Cereal’s exclusivity, there are a lot of people out there fiending for a bowl, but unable to find one. Fortunately, there’s plenty of warmhearted, generous, kind resellers willing to help out.
Now that boxes are getting out into the world, the Taco Bell Cinnamon Twists Cereal is reselling for $20 to $30 per box. One intrepid seller even managed to get $100 for their box early on.
Considering that Taco Bell Breakfast Cereal boxes cost somewhere between free and $2, this is a pretty solid flip. If you’ve got Uber Eats and live in one of the cities we mentioned, why not grab a few boxes? Ship them out to Taco Bell megafan stuck in Arkansas and make a couple bucks.
