Key Points

  • Seven limited-edition 16 oz tumblers retail for $45 each, with Stanley confirming no restocks after sellout

  • Each design is created by an artist from one of seven countries celebrating the 2026 FIFA World Cup

  • Argentina, Mexico, and USA designs are likely to move the fastest given fanbase size and host nation status

Stanley is leaning into the World Cup hype with a limited drop that gives resellers something to work with. Seven tumblers, seven artists, seven countries, and once they’re gone, they’re officially gone. With the 2026 FIFA World Cup set to kick off in the United States, Canada, and Mexico this summer, Stanley is betting that soccer fans will want a piece of the moment. The real question for resellers is which designs are worth chasing and whether Stanley’s recently sluggish market can support the flip.

Stanley World Cup Tumbler Collection

The Fútbol Artist Collection is a set of 16 oz Everyday Tumblers, each designed by an independent artist representing one of seven participating nations.

Argentina, Mexico, and the United States are among the included designs and are the ones most likely to sell out first.

At $45 retail, these aren’t an impulse buy for most people, but they’re priced within reach for collectors and fans who want something that ties into the tournament. Stanley has confirmed that none of the seven designs will restock after they sell out. That hard no-restock commitment is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here from a scarcity standpoint.

The collection drops May 14 on Stanley’s website.

Will These Tumblers Resell?

Stanley has had a rough couple of years. The Quencher tumbler craze peaked in 2023 and 2024, and the brand has since struggled to replicate that kind of demand. Not every Stanley collab prints money anymore, and resellers who went heavy on generic colorways in 2024 probably still have inventory sitting.

That said, this drop is meaningfully different from a standard colorway release. Limited-edition artist collabs tied to a specific cultural moment have a better shelf life than color variants, and the World Cup is one of the biggest sporting events on the planet. Country-specific designs tap into national pride in a way that cuts beyond the usual Stanley buyer. The Argentina design in particular has a strong case given Messi’s ongoing cultural moment, and the USA and Mexico designs benefit from the host nation spotlight.

If resale prices land in the $90-$140 range, which is realistic for designs that sell out quickly, you’re looking at roughly $33-$80 in profit per unit after eBay’s 13% fee. That math looks better on Argentina and Mexico than it does on designs from smaller soccer markets, where demand on the secondary market is harder to predict.

Nothing here is a guaranteed slam dunk. Stanley’s resale market is softer than it was two years ago, and a $45 limited edition with no celebrity co-sign attached is not going to go viral on its own. But for resellers who can grab one or two of the high-demand designs at launch, this is a reasonable low-risk flip with some upside tied to World Cup momentum as the tournament draws closer.

Bottom Line

The May 14 drop means you have a short window to plan. Prioritize Argentina, Mexico, and USA. If the site allows you to grab one of each, that’s your best hedge. If stock is tight at launch and you have to choose, Argentina has the strongest resale case given the global fanbase.

This is a final sale item with no refunds, so don’t over-commit. Buy what you’re confident you can move, and if you end up holding one as a fan piece, $45 is not a painful floor.
