Nike's Swarovski Air Jordans are Flipping for $1,400

The Swarovski x Air Jordan 1 High OG arrives in a “Vast Grey/Photon Dust” colorway with Swarovski crystals arranged in organic, blotch-like panels across the leather upper. Rather than coating the entire shoe uniformly, the crystals are clustered in varied shapes and densities, which creates a texture that reads more like geology than jewelry. Metallic silver hardware appears on the Wings logo at the collar, and the tongue and Swoosh also get crystal treatment.

The pair ships with a silver charm bracelet, two dust bags, and extra crystals so you can touch up any stones that fall off over time.

Nike and Swarovski’s sneaker partnership goes back to 2017, when they produced a crystal-studded Air Max 97. Since then the collaboration has touched the Air Force 1, Air Max Plus, and several of Ja Morant’s signature shoes.

The Air Jordan 1 line specifically came into the picture in May 2025 with the Low OG “Stealth” colorway, a blacked-out, fully encrusted pair that reportedly sold through to roughly 3,000 units according to Sole Retriever (Nike has not confirmed official production numbers). That Low flipped immediately and stayed elevated on the secondary market throughout the summer.

The High OG takes a different approach. Where the Low was monochrome and uniform, the High uses a lighter grey palette and asymmetric crystal placement, giving it a more editorial, display-piece feel. It’s the kind of shoe that sits in a case more often than it hits a sidewalk, which actually works in its favor on the resale market. Pieces that collectors treat as objects tend to hold value longer than wearable pairs that eventually get beat up.

Resale prices on StockX are landing around $1,400 depending on size, which puts profit at roughly $365 after StockX’s fees (approximately 9% for most sellers at standard tier). That’s about 39% above retail on a $1,005 shoe, which is solid but not extraordinary for a limited Jordan 1 collab on day one.

The more relevant comparison is the AJ1 Low, which opened at similar premiums before softening over the following weeks as initial hype cooled. If the High follows the same pattern, the best window to sell is now, while the drop is fresh and demand from buyers who missed retail is still hot. Waiting a month to see if prices climb higher is the riskier play here.

This is a fragile sneaker. Crystals detach over time, and damaged pairs lose value significantly. If you’re holding for long-term appreciation, storage matters. For shoes platforms like StockX, condition scrutiny will be high. Buyers will expect pristine crystal coverage, so any chips or losses before shipping are a problem. Resale of crystal-covered shoes also carries a higher rate of condition disputes than standard sneaker flips.

The Swarovski AJ1 High is a legitimate flip at current prices, and the ~$365 margin after fees on a size that moves is real money. Day-one sellers are in the best position. The shoe is beautiful, the collab has a track record, and the limited supply supports the premium. Just be careful handling it and ship with extra padding. One dropped crystal and your buyer will be filing a claim.
