MB&F has been popular among watch collectors for their M.A.D. lottery system, and this one is no exception. The new M.A.D.3 breaks from the usual mold, swapping past designs for a Vincent Calabrese wandering hours complication rebuilt from the ground up for real production. A separate pink version exists too, but that one only goes to MB&F’s inner circle of past buyers and friends, so the blue watch up for raffle is the one worth your attention.

M.A.D.3 Watch Lottery Details

Most M.A.D.Editions releases have been fairly conventional two-hand watches. The M.A.D.3 is built around Vincent Calabrese’s original Baladin complication, where the hour hand travels slowly across the dial instead of jumping while the minutes move normally.

MB&F rebuilt the module from scratch since the original mechanism wasn’t built for mass production. It’s a real departure for the brand, and past MB&F raffle drops with unusual mechanics or colorways have historically resold at the higher end of the range.

The M.A.D.3 raffle is open now and closes September 7 at 6 AM PT. Entry is free and limited to one per person, though anyone who entered a past MB&F raffle and lost automatically gets a double chance if they use the same email address.

MB&F holds your card for the full checkout total when you enter, but you’re only charged if selected. Winners are drawn September 8, with results emailed that afternoon and no waiting list. Delivery runs from October 2026 through April 2027.

MB&F M.A.D. Watches Resell

MB&F’s M.A.D. watch raffles have been lucrative flips in the past. We covered the inaugural M.A.D.1 raffle in 2023, and watched as those pieces flipped for more than $10,000.

Recent MB&F raffle watches have not hit those same numbers, but are still plenty respectable. April’s M.A.D.2 watches resell today for anywhere from $4,000 to $6,000.

The M.A.D.3 retails for the same CHF 2,900 as the M.A.D.2, but the franc has strengthened considerably against the dollar since we last covered one of these raffles. You’re looking at around $400 extra to secure one of these watches, and that doesn’t account for VAT. Consider these extra expenses along with platform fees when it’s time to flip the watch. $5,000 is probably the minimum price required to walk away with some profit.
