Genshin Impact PS5 DualSense Controllers Available Now

Sony and HoYoverse collaborated closely on the Genshin Impact Limited Edition DualSense, which features an ethereal white, gold, and green palette adorned with arcane glyphs from the game’s fantasy world. Emblems of the Traveler Twins Aether and Lumine are featured prominently, along with a Paimon graphic for good measure. Functionally it’s identical to any standard DualSense, just wrapped in a design that Genshin fans will actually want to display.

This is not a cosmetic that appeals to a casual audience. Genshin Impact has been running for five years and still has one of the most active and passionate player communities in gaming. The timing here is deliberate: the controller’s release coincides with the game’s fifth anniversary celebrations.

Sony has confirmed this is a limited production run. Once it sells out, there will be no restock.

The controller is available today at PlayStation Direct, Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop, all at $84.99. PlayStation Direct has a hard limit of one per customer.

Sony’s themed DualSense controllers have a decent track record on the secondary market. The Helldivers 2 Limited Edition DualSense sold for up to $200 on eBay against its $85 retail price. The Astro Bot controller followed a similar pattern. Across the board, these limited DualSense drops tend to land in the $50 to $100 over retail range once retail stock dries up.

The Genshin Impact edition has a compelling argument for landing at the higher end of that range. Genshin’s fanbase skews heavily toward collectors and dedicated players who will want this for display purposes alone, not just to use as a controller. That kind of demand from collectors, not just resellers, tends to keep prices elevated longer.

At $85 retail, a $150 to $170 flip after eBay’s 13% fees leaves you with roughly $45 to $63 in profit per unit. Not a life-changing flip, but a solid return for one order.
