Key Points

  • All three Pokémon Titan Evo chairs retail for $684, with Pikachu still available in a limited second-wave restock

  • Gengar and Eevee chairs have sold out twice each, with third-wave preorders open now and shipping expected in late June

  • Secretlab offers a 49-day return window, though customers are responsible for return shipping costs on a 70-pound chair

Secretlab has restocked three limited-edition gaming chairs from their collaboration with the Pokémon Company, celebrating the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The Titan Evo chairs come in Pikachu, Gengar, and Eevee designs, and they’ve already sold out multiple times over. There are no resale comps yet since the chairs haven’t shipped, but the repeated sellouts are a promising signal. Whether this turns into a profitable flip depends a lot on how Secretlab handles future stock, so let’s dig in.

SecretLab's Official Pokemon Collaboration

The Secretlab x Pokémon Titan Evo chairs are built on the same base as Secretlab’s flagship Titan Evo, which is widely considered one of the better gaming chairs on the market. Each design features the Pokémon rendered in plush velour on the backrest with their elemental type symbol stitched in microsuede, plus each Pokemon’s official Pokédex number sewn in. Available in Regular and XL sizes.

These aren’t cheap licensed-art cash-grabs. For Pokémon fans who also care about quality, there’s real appeal here beyond the collectible angle, and that combination of premium build and limited availability is what tends to generate secondary market demand.

Secretlab is marketing these as limited edition, which is technically true, but the definition of “limited” is still being written in real time.

The Pikachu chair has a small amount of stock remaining from its second preorder wave, with shipping expected before the end of May. The Gengar and Eevee chairs have both sold out twice, and third-wave preorders are currently open with an estimated late June ship date. Whether a fourth wave follows is unknown.

There are no eBay sold comps to reference because none of these have shipped yet. That’s the core uncertainty here. If Secretlab keeps restocking indefinitely, the secondary market never gets a chance to develop. If these three waves are it, resellers who preordered early could be sitting on something worthwhile once chairs start arriving.

Will These Chairs Resell?

This is a speculative flip. There’s a real audience for these. Pokémon gaming setups are popular, the Titan Evo is a respected product, and $684 chairs with premium collab branding don’t show up often. If supply dries up after this current wave, that audience has nowhere to go but eBay.

The problem is the shipping math. These chairs weigh around 70 pounds. Secretlab estimates around $40 in shipping costs for US customers, and resellers would likely face even higher costs shipping to a buyer. You’re potentially looking at $80 to $100 in combined shipping expenses before you’ve made a dollar. That eats significantly into any margin, especially on a $684 purchase where eBay fees alone will run around $89.

For that reason, this is actually a decent candidate for a local flip through Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist, but these are niche enough that finding a local buyer might be difficult outside of major cities.

The 49-day return policy is a real safety net here. If you preorder and the secondary market looks weak by the time your chair ships, you can send it back. Just know that you’re covering return shipping on a 70-pound item, which will run you roughly $40 and is non-recoverable. You can also cancel your preorder before it ships, which gives you a longer runway to watch how the market develops before committing.

Bottom Line

Preorder if you’re interested, then monitor whether Secretlab opens a fourth wave. Make your hold-or-return decision once chairs start reaching buyers and early comps appear on eBay. If Secretlab closes the door after this third wave, demand from Pokémon fans and chair collectors could push secondhand prices above retail. If they keep restocking, this goes nowhere. The return window gives you time to find out which it is.
