Over the weekend, gaming accessory manufacturer Finalmouse launched their long-awaited Centerpiece Pro keyboard. With cutting edge tech, near-instant response times, and a glitzy design, these have been massively popular among gamers with cash to throw around. To no one’s surprise, resellers were quick to join in on the fun. Now these Centerpiece Pro keyboards are flipping for nearly double what they retailed for.

Centerpiece Pro Keyboards from Finalmouse

It’s been a big week for PC gamers. Nvidia just dropped their latest 50 series GPUs, and now Finalmouse has (finally) dropped their Centerpiece Pro keyboards.

Not familiar with the name? While they’re primarily known for their swiss cheese-like ultralight computer mouses, Finalmouse has branched out in recent years. Their most hotly awaited product was the Centerpiece keyboard, which was expected to release by 2023.

You can probably understand the “Centerpiece” name. Beneath the keys is a full digital display powered by an onboard GPU. Users can play video, animated or static wallpapers, or basically any image they can think of. This blows your standard flashy RGB out of the water.

Along with the glitz are some solid specs. The Centerpiece Pro features Hall-Effect mechanical switches under every key, with customizable triggers starting at 0.1 mm and lightning fast resets. Low latency, high quality gaming awaits.

Finalmouse sold their Centerpiece Pro keyboards for $350 over the weekend. After their reveal in 2022, customers have been waiting for their chance to buy one, and the opportunity did not last long. All of the available keyboards sold out in minutes.

Previous Finalmouse customers received digital coupons for “Founder’s Editions” keyboards with their purchases. These could be redeemed for priority access to the Centerpiece Pro sale.

It’s not clear how many of these codes were actually redeemed, although we do know that there was enough left over stock for a public sale to launch the day after early access orders closed.

Why should anyone be content with “good enough” when they could have the best? After all, a keyboard isn’t just a keyboard; you need it to light up with animated koi or girls shaking their asses to get the best performance on Valorant.

And the gamers out there certainly agree. It’s still early, but we’ve already seen a few sales for Finalmouse Centerpiece Pro keyboards come in at around $650.

Finalmouse Centerpiece Pro Keyboard for Sale

This represents a profit of about $300. Because of the limited stock, getting multiple keyboards at retail was difficult, so most resellers were only able to flip a single keyboard. Still, $300 in one go is a great flip for anyone.

It’s also worth noting that we saw a ton of sales for the Founder’s Edition digital codes ahead of the drop. Most of these resold for $50 to $80 at a time, so it was a good way to make back some of the money spent on a previous Finalmouse product.

Again, nothing earthshattering, but worth paying attention to. This was a pretty nice flip for anyone that managed to get in, and expect to see more keyboards on the way from Finalmouse soon.
