Stanley and e.l.f. Cosmetics have collaborated on a new collection at Target
There are tumblers for $35 and $45, and special accessories
Resellers are expecting them to flip for around double that
Want to make some money today? Stanley is teaming up with e.l.f. cosmetics for a new line of tumblers ad accessories. Some items will be available online, but you’ll need to head to your local Target to snag the most popular parts. Stanley has had a string of successes with their last few tumbler releases, and we’re expecting this one to do just as well. Here’s everything you need to know.
Yep, another week, another Stanley collab. While most people are content with one, maybe two different water bottles, Stanley collectors are a different breed. If you don’t have a different double-insulated, half gallon jug of water for every day of the week, you’re doing it wrong.
And Stanley has been more than happy to cater to them, and their marketing department has been hard at work cooking up collaborations with major brands and celebrities like Olivia Rodrigo, LoveShackFancy, and Barbie.
Earlier this month, they confirmed their next crossover collection would be with e.l.f. cosmetics. Five new and limited edition tumbler designs will be available exclusively through Target in both 30 and 40 oz sizes.
The new colors for the e.l.f. Stanley collab are based on shades from e.l.f., including:
Along with the tumblers, e.l.f. is selling bottles of their Glow Reviver Lip Oil, and an exclusive clamp-on lip oil holder that attaches directly to your Stanley. And as a fun bonus, the lip oil holders will include a sticker sheet for optimal accessorizing.
The e.l.f. Stanley collection launches today, October 27. Tumblers will be available exclusively through Target, either online or in-stores. The products are not sold as bundles, and the tumblers should be your main focus.
Stanley X e.l.f. lip oil holders are sold separately, and you can also buy these online through the e.l.f. website along with the previous options.
So – worth buying? We certainly think so. Stanley’s hot streak has continued through 2024, and while some of their self-developed drops have fizzled, many of their outside collaborations have been very popular.
Earlier this month, we covered Stanley’s crossover with “Wicked” that included two new tumbler designs. These also dropped through Target, and the resellers that jumped on it early were able to walk out with around $50 in profit per tumbler.
These came on the heel of a string of other profitable drops. The average profit has dipped a bit since the early days of Stanley flipping, but there’s still good money to be made for any reseller.
If you want our advice, we recommend only going after the e.l.f. Stanley tumblers. These will be the most popular and therefore profitable items, and hold the least risk.
There is a possibility that the lip oil holders will resell though. They’re designed to resemble a Stanley tumbler and feature both companies branding prominently.
They’re a bit silly, but Stanley collectors might get a kick out of them. At only $6, the risk is minimal, but the chances that these resell are largely based on production numbers that we don’t know. If Stanley overproduces them, forget about them reselling.
Still on the fence? Remember that Target offers a 90 day refund window for all the items from this collection. Buy today, and get your money back later if they fail to resell. That makes this opportunity almost entirely risk-free, which is a huge plus for any reseller.
Good luck today if you decide to go after this flip. If you want to stay updated on exclusive drops like these in the future, make sure you subscribe to our newsletter and never miss another flip.
