Disney's Limited Edition Giselle Dolls are a Smash Hit

There’s nothing like a good flip to start your week off right. Disney just added a new limited edition doll to their Designer Dance Collection series, this time featuring Giselle from Enchanted. With super-limited stock numbers and a collector-grade price tag, these dolls were guaranteed to fly the second they hit Disney’s webstore. After selling out online, we’re already seeing resellers flipping the dolls for up to double what they retailed for. Let’s get started.

Too many resellers are ignorant to flips outside of their comfort zone. You’ve got the stuff everyone is on the lookout for: shoes, cards, Labubus; but there’s a whole world of profitable goods out there that other resellers are sleeping on.

So we’re gonna let you in on something today: dolls. Not just any dolls, but premium, collector-oriented, high quality dolls. From MGA to Mattel to Disney, companies recognize the value of a high-end range of dolls for customers to fight over.

Which is exactly what we’re looking at today. This morning, Disney released a new limited edition Giselle Designer doll through the online Disney Store. These are built from the ground up with a critical attention to detail.

They’re based on Giselle’s (animated) appearance in 2007’s “Enchanted” with an intricate satin gown, matching corset, and golden tiara.

To nail down the collector’s niche, these limited edition Giselle dolls were priced at $130 and sold exclusively through the Disney Store. Just 3,500 were made (each with a numbered certificate of authenticity), practically guaranteeing they’d sell out quick.

And would you look at that, they sold out quick. Less than fifteen minutes by our counting, which was preceded by a long queue.

Now that they’re sold out, there’s pretty much one way for things to go now. Disney limited edition Giselle dolls are reselling for upwards of $200, with many sales eclipsing the $250 mark.

Meaning that resellers that got in early to this drop are currently counting up triple digit profits from a single item. As a Designer Dance Collection doll, we don’t expect to see these restock any time soon, so it’s possible profits will only continue to climb from here.
