Barbie Signature Wonder Woman Anniversary Doll Drops March 23

Mattel is celebrating Wonder Woman’s 85th anniversary with a new Barbie Signature collector doll, dropping March 23 at 9 AM Pacific through Mattel Creations. The doll is also expected to land on Amazon and potentially other retailers at the same time, so keep an eye on multiple storefronts when the clock hits.

This one has been teased since early February, which is a longer runway than most Barbie Signature releases get. That extended hype window tends to build demand from both resellers monitoring the market and collectors who have been saving up.

One thing to be aware of before you go to checkout: some Barbie Signature releases on Mattel Creations require a Club 59 membership to purchase. That has not been confirmed for this doll yet, so wait for the product page to go live before buying one. Memberships run $10 for a year and can be purchased online, so it’s a small cost of entry if it turns out to be required.

Wonder Woman is one of the most recognizable characters in comics history, and the 85th anniversary framing gives this release some additional gravity for completionist collectors.

At a $150 resell price, you’re clearing around $70 per unit after eBay’s fees. If demand pushes sales to $200, that margin jumps to roughly $114. Neither number is going to change your life, but it’s a clean flip for anyone who can cop multiple units.
