Key Points

  • Pro V1 “Left Dot” golf balls have only been released one time before this week

  • 12-ball packs retailed for $55 and quickly sold out

  • They’re reselling for 2X MSRP and will likely go up in price

We just got a limited restock of one of the most coveted balls in golf. Titleist has produced a limited run of Pro V1 “Left Dot” balls intended for the consumer market. This is just the second time they’ve ever been sold publicly, and the first sale in four years. Golfers and resellers were quick to seize the opportunity, and we’re already seeing them resell for up to double their MSRP. Based on the last time we saw these go up for sale, prices are expected to keep going up.

Titleist Pro V1 Left Dot Explained

If you’re a golfer, you’re already well familiar with Titleist’s iconic Pro V1. Widely touted as the best ball in the sport among pros (and thus equally popular with your weekend hacker), the Pro V1 is a staple of the sport.

Circa 2013, several Tour players worked with Titleist on a CPO, or “Custom Performance Option” of the Pro V1. These variants were optimized for a reduced spin and a lower, longer, faster launch trajectory while maintaining the Pro V1’s signature softness and touch for approach shots.

The Pro V1 “Left Dot” was born, and became an uncommon but established choice for PGA pros. Just a fraction of Tour players utilize it, but big names like Patrick Reed and Tony Finau have played the Left Dot to great success (including a 2018 Masters win for Reed).

These have remained exclusive to Tour players with a special relationship to Titleist, but they finally put the Left Dot Pro V1 up for sale in 2021.

If you’re a reseller, you’ll know that golfers will spend ridiculous amounts of money for a chance to improve their game (except booking a lesson). The Pro V1 Left Dot’s promise to reduce spin and keep the ball low can theoretically boost drive distances, plus it has an immediate cool-and-exclusive factor.

2025 Titleist Pro V1 Left Dot Restock

The Pro V1 Left Dot was made available starting September 23, 2025, sold exclusively through Titleist.com and select online retailers in the U.S. and Canada, with pricing set at $55 per dozen and a limit of three boxes per customer. Dick’s Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy are confirmed retailers carrying the 2025 Pro V1 Left Dot golf balls. PGA Tour Superstore also listed the balls for sale.

As of this publication, all online retailers have sold out of their stock. Your best chance at snagging a box would be calling around participating local retailers, but it’s unclear how much (if any) of their stock was allocated for retail sale.

The bottom line is these balls sold out nearly instantly, just like last time. With a four year gap between sales, this is looking like one of the rarest golf balls available today.

Titleist Pro V1 Left Dot Resells

Unsurprisingly, that rarity has translated to a ridiculous secondary market for the ball. At $4.50 per ball retail these were already an expensive ball, but wait until you see what they’re going for on eBay.

Right now, resellers are flipping 12-ball boxes of Titleist Pro V1 Left Dot balls for around $100, with additional outlier sales of up to $175. Three-box bundles are selling for close to $400 at a time.

Titleist Pro V1 Left Dot golf ball for sale on eBay

On average, Titleist’s ultra-rare Pro V1 Left Dot golf ball is reselling for more than double its MSRP on the secondary market.

Given their established scarcity, we’re not holding our breath for a restock. Barring any surprises, it’ll likely be a few years before these are available for general retail sale again. You might be able to find a box or two through certain specialty stores, but don’t make these your go-to ball unless you can keep them in-bounds.

There’s a silver lining here for resellers though. While the market for these balls is hot right now, prices are actually expected to go up in the future. When the Pro V1 Left Dot first went up for sale in 2021, resellers were turning up to $200 in profit per box several months after the launch.

Since these don’t restock and golfers tend to lose balls, they become more valuable over time. Longer holds always introduce risk, but it’s a strategy worth considering if you snagged a box.

That’s all for today. Make sure you check out our other articles while you’re here; we’re only a few days away from the launch of Meta’s Ray-Ban Display glasses, and they’re looking like one of the juiciest flips of the year. Get all the details in our article here.
