Ariana Grande sold signed CDs earlier this month for $18
Customers were able to buy up to four with one order
They are currently flipping for around $60
It’s time to check your mail and make some money, because signed copies of Ariana Grande’s latest album are finally shipping. Resellers are making an absolute killing off these CDs, and there’s no sign of anything slowing down soon. With generous quantity limits and a low price of entry, all that’s left is to find buyers willing to pay way, way too much for a copy. From the way things are looking, that doesn’t seem like much of a challenge.
From acting to music to acting in a musical, Ariana Grande has had a lot of fun over the last few years. We’ve been all over the various pieces of Wicked merch that have dropped in the last few months, and now Ari is back with another gift for resellers.
After dropping her seventh studio album “Eternal Sunshine” in late 2024, a limited number of signed CDs were sold directly through her website this month. For just $18, you could snag Ariana Grande’s signature (and some music, if that’s your thing.)
It seems like Ariana really cares about her fans too, because customers were able to buy up to four of these CDs in a single order. At the time of the drop, we counted around 6,000 CDs loaded for sale. This drop was basically a reseller’s paradise.
And the wait is finally over. We’re getting reports that signed copies of Ariana’s “Eternal Sunshine” are finally arriving to buyer’s doorsteps. Now the fun can really begin.
Who could have seen this coming? With thousands of signed CDs produced and customers able to buy up to four at once, it’s almost like Ariana’s team wanted scalpers to take control of this drop.
In any case, signed copies of Ariana Grande’s “Eternal Sunshine” CDs are flipping for around $60 at a time, with some sellers flipping theirs for as much as $90.
Depending on how many you got and what they sold for, a reseller was able to turn a profit of up to $150 off this drop. Now that the CDs have shipped and they’re able to be listed as “in hand,” we expect even more sales and profit to roll in over the next few weeks.
Overall, not a terribly surprising result. It’s always smart to bet on a celebrity’s signature, and we have no shortage of examples. Even weird stuff like Kirk Hammett’s coffee table book or an autographed Neill deGrasse Tyson trading card ends up being profitable thanks to the signature.
