Disney has started selling a new collection of Mickey Mouse Halloween decorations, and one these is a decorative Mickey Mouse Wreath. These are easy to buy right now, but fast forward a few months to orange trees and gray skies, and these wreathes will be sold out and reselling. Here’s what you need to know.

If you’ve been following our blog lately, you’ve probably seen a lot of Halloween stuff. That’s no coincidence; late July and early August is the best time to buy Halloween decorations.

We’ve been covering a lot of different props as they start stocking. One day it’s Disney Jack-o-Lanterns, then giant skeletons from Costco. Today we’re looking at Mickey Mouse Halloween Wreathes.

As you can probably guess from the name, these are decorative doorhangers that feature plastic leaves and flowers wreathed around a Jack-o-Lantern version of Mickey Mouse.

The whole package is a perfect decoration for your average Disney adult. Fall foliage meets Mickey Mouse, and the result is a big orange ring that people are gravitated towards. Sometimes that’s all you need.

These Mickey Mouse Halloween Wreathes are $75. You can buy them right now through the Disney Store website. It’s not clear when they’ll start shipping, but Disney Store claims a 3-5 day shipping window for most items.

Of course, we wouldn’t be talking about this ugly, overpriced, tacky wreath for no reason. Taste is taste, sure, but we won’t be hanging any of these on our doors this Halloween.

But there are plenty of people who will, and even more that will want to, but can’t because they’re all sold out. Like we said, Summer is the best time to buy Halloween decorations. If you wait until October like the average consumer, you’ll find the market has changed.

Which is a roundabout way of saying buy Halloween decorations in July, resell them in October. We see stuff like this flip every year. In 2022, 13 Foot Tall Jack Skellingtons flipped for hundreds. Last year, Tractor Supply Co. put out a whole line of yard skeletons that resold.

And these wreathes are the third product we’ve covered for Halloween 2024. They’re easy to buy, and they’re going to be very popular as Halloween gets closer.

If you’ve got the cash and don’t mind sitting on a product for a few months, these look quite promising. Before you buy, make sure you consult Disney Store’s refund policy. Unopened items can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of their delivery date, including seasonal items like these.

So if you’re on the fence, it might be smart to delay your purchase for a bit. Usually Halloween decorations will sell slowly up until late September, and then rapidly pick up pace as we get closer to the holiday. Buying late will give you more time to gauge the market.
