Yup, you read that right. We’re back with another tumbler. We’d rename the site, but “Stanley Calendar” just doesn’t have the same ring. If you haven’t been keeping up with the incredible profits to be made by flipping Stanley tumblers, it’s time to get out from under that rock. Today we’ll be looking at the company’s most recent collaboration with Starbucks, and the resellers flipping them for more than $200 at a time. Strap in.

Well it’s sure looking like 2024 will be the year of the Stanley. Forget your zodiac, horoscope, or any other star sign; consumerism is in the zeitgeist now.

If you’re a regular RC reader, the Stanley logo is probably burned into your retinas by now. Hopefully you’ve picked up on the hint and flipped a few of these yourself. Here’s the short of it:

People love Stanley. People will kill and die for Stanley. People will pay resellers outrageous prices for Stanley. In the same way that Big Tobacco makes billions by preying on addiction, Stanley is your ticket to easy money.

So let’s talk specifics. Early yesterday morning, (like 3 A.M. early), a new Stanley tumbler released. It was a collaboration between Starbucks and Stanley. The result? A 40 oz “Quencher” almost identical to the company’s other tumblers.

It’s pink though. Actually, it’s very pink. Like, Pepto-Bismol colored. The only other notable change is a “Stanley + Starbucks” badging along the side. For the plugged-in Stanley collector, that’s all you need.

These were teased in the days ahead of their launch, and people were ready them. The new Starbucks Stanley tumblers released on January 3, for $45. They were available exclusively at Target and Starbucks locations across the country.

Collectors were so excited for this drop that they were camping out in the early hours to try and secure one. Starbucks locations can open at 4 A.M. or earlier depending on the store, so the frenzy would begin when the doors opened.

As of today, there have been no confirmed fatalities resulting from the Starbucks X Stanley crossover.

And of course, more than a few those lined up last morning were resellers. See, an opportunity like this doesn’t come up every day. Well, the last few weeks its seemed like a new Stanley tumbler releases every other day at least, but this one was actually special.

In fact, this is looking like Stanley’s biggest drop ever. Right now, Starbucks Stanley tumblers are reselling for upwards of $150. The lowest ask on StockX for one is $179 as of this writing, with nearly 250 sales so far.

In professional terms, we’d consider that “pretty good”. Yeah yeah, waking up early is a bitch, but multiplying $50 or $100 four times is worth it, at least in our opinion.
