Combat dropped three bats for their “Rodeo” collection
Each variant was $300 and limited to 5,000 units
Resellers are flipping them for over $600
With the baseball season almost upon us, it’s time to start stocking up on gear. For those with money to waste and a desire to be special, Combat MFG is the premier bat manufacturer. A new run of limited edition “Rodeo” bats dropped on Thursday, and now they’re flipping for double what they retailed for. Take your spot in the batter’s box and let’s get started.
It’s officially baseball time. March 27 marked the beginning of the MLB’s 150th season, although the Cubs and the Dodgers kicked things off early with their season opener played in Japan.
And that means money, money, money. Money for beer, money for tickets, and money spent on gear. Combat MFG is an up-and-coming manufacturer specializing in elite level bats with an ample dose of pizazz.
We’ve covered some of their previous releases like the Cookies ‘n’ Cream BBCOR, and now they’ve kicked off Opening Day with the most American bat imaginable. Check out the Combat MFG “Rodeo” series.

Built on Combat’s Spec-A1 platform, the drop consisted of three bats in distinct colorways: “Greatest Show on Dirt,” “Mess With the Bull,” and “Not My First Rodeo.” The bats are functionally identical, with MFG’s distinctive flexible barrel tech and unmistakable sound.
Notably, the orange coloration of the “Greatest Show on Dirt” bats makes it illegal for NCAA and NJCAA play. The other bats are unrestricted.
All of the bats in Combat’s Rodeo series sold for $300 on March 27. Each colorway was limited to 5,000 units and individually numbered. They were sold through Combat’s site, as well as a limited number available via raffle on the Dick’s app.
With such a hyped drop, it was no surprise to see these bats sell out. All three bats from Combat’s Rodeo drop were coveted, and all three would end up returning 404 errors within minutes of their launch time.
Right now, Combat MFG Rodeo bats are reselling for upwards of $600, just about double what they retailed for. There seems to be no preference for any colorway; all the variants are reselling in equal numbers and similar prices.
With a $300 MSRP, resellers that got in on this drop stood to double their money with every bat they got. Three bats meant three chances, so this was an extremely lucrative drop for anyone with the right knowledge and capital.
