Three new limited Combat MFG bats released this week
Each variant was limited and numbered to 5,000 with a $350 MSRP
Resellers are flipping them for $500 to $600
Beer-leaguers had the opportunity to pick up a new collection of premium bats from Combat MFG this week. Three new designs dropped online, alongside a collection of exclusive tees and tank tops. Combat’s “Country Club” collection might’ve carried country club prices, but the bats still sold out fast. Now resellers are flipping them for nearly double their MSRP. Let’s get into it.
While you might think golf is the premier sport when it comes to reselling equipment, we’ve seen a lot of profitable drops for baseball gear.
We’ve covered limited edition and super-profitable gloves from Absolutely Ridiculous, collectable ball markers from Swag Golf, and plenty of baseball bats.
Combat MFG is a particular favorite among players, which makes it a favorite for resellers too. They’re known primarily for their Spec-A1 design. This week’s “Country Club” collection included three limited-edition variants of the Spec-A1: Swing Easy, Aces, and Go Long.
Each variant was limited to 5,000 units and individually number. Combat sold their Country Club bats for $350 through their website on May 14. Buyers could register for VIP early access ahead of the drop.
And all the bats sold out fast, unsurprisingly. If you missed the initial drop, Combat partnered with Dick’s to drop a limited (and we do mean limited) number of bats through the Dick’s App. This would be the final release of Combat’s Country Club collection; once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Also unsurprisingly, these bats are popular on eBay. Combat has worked out a winning formula for their limited edition bat drops, and it usually pencils out to decent profits for everyone involved.
Right now, Combat MFG Country Club bats are reselling for $500 to $600. All of the variants are reselling, although the blue Swing Easy bats make up the bulk of the sales and biggest profits.
For those in the know, this is pretty much what we’d expect. This is the third time we’ve covered a limited release from Combat MFG, and it won’t be the last. We’ll be keeping our eyes on future releases from the brand, and we recommend you do too.
Of course, you’re in the right spot for news and updates on everything worth reselling. Make sure you’re subscribed to our newsletter to get our latest sent directly to your inbox.
