Target’s Early Black Friday Sale is on Now

Target just dropped their early Black Friday schedule and most resellers are going to miss the window. The three-day sale runs November 6-8, and if you wait until the main event on November 28, the profitable inventory will already be cleaned out.

This is Target’s move to compete with Walmart and Best Buy, who started their early deals weeks ago. Target knows resellers are watching, so they buried they’ve buried the good stuff.

Most of Target’s early sale is noise for resellers. Pajamas at 40% off don’t move units. Champion clothing sits. But three categories consistently flip for profit:

LEGO sets at 40% off are the clear winner. Target’s hitting select sets with steep cuts, and LEGO holds value better than almost any toy category. Hunt for popular licenses like Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Marvel. Avoid generic City sets unless they’re massive discounts. Buy retail at $50-100 range, flip in December when Target’s sold out and parents are desperate. You’re looking at $20-40 profit per set after eBay’s fees.

Select toys up to 50% off are hit or miss, but the hits are solid. Target mentioned Barbie, FAO Schwarz, and Hot Wheels specifically. Barbie Dreamhouses and collector dolls move fast. Hot Wheels premium sets (not the $1 cars) have loyal buyers. FAO Schwarz branded toys carry nostalgia premium. The key is knowing which toys have collector markets versus which just sit in clearance bins forever.

Small appliances and floor care up to 50% off includes Ninja, which has strong resale demand. Ninja air fryers, blenders, and coffee makers consistently sell on Facebook Marketplace and eBay. Target’s cutting these deep because they want foot traffic, but the secondary market stays strong through December. A Ninja air fryer at $60 retail flips for $90-110 locally.
