Key Points

  • Sold-out Gris / Neva Collector’s Editions were briefly relisted this week

  • They were originally available for preorder in April for $200

  • Resellers are flipping them for upwards of $320

Resellers had the chance to pick up a sold-out collector’s edition for the games Gris and Neva earlier this week. These flew under the radar for most collectors when they opened for preorder earlier this year, and this limited restock was an opportunity to get in on something profitable. These editions continue to resell for respectable profits.

Gris Neva Collector Edition Overview

GameStop just restocked the Gris/Neva Collector’s Edition at $200, a premium bundle combining two critically acclaimed indie games from developer Nomada Studio.

Gris, released in 2018, is a serene platformer about a girl dealing with painful experiences through a watercolor world. Neva, which launched this year, is an emotional action-adventure following Alba and her wolf companion through a decaying world. Both games are known for their art direction and evocative soundtracks rather than traditional gameplay.

This collector’s edition bundles physical copies of both games (PS5 or Switch), a 168-page hardcover artbook split between both titles, double vinyl gatefold with original soundtracks, two SteelBooks, an art print, and a premium collector’s box. Originally sold out when preorders opened in April, then again in May. This appears to be another limited wave before the November 21st ship date.

Sales volume is low, but the units that have moved are hitting $250-$350 on the secondary market. After eBay fees, a $300 sale nets around $260, giving you roughly $60-$140 profit depending on where it sells. Nothing crazy, but respectable for a gaming collectible.

It’s worth noting these don’t ship until November 21st, meaning you’re tying up $200 for nearly two months before you can actually flip it. Resale prices could shift once units start arriving in volume and the market sees how many GameStop actually restocked.

For general resellers needing quick turns and volume, the two-month wait and niche market probably aren’t worth it, but it’s pretty lucrative for the money and risk involved.

If you managed to grab one during the restock, congrats. You’re looking at a quick ~$200 or so. Now that it’s sold out again, you’re back to hunting secondary markets or waiting to see if GameStop does another wave before November 21st.

While you’re here, make sure you check out some other gaming-related flips that we’ve covered. Sony has confirmed a 30th Anniversary shoe collection with Reebok, so get all the details here before they drop.
