Chipotle is releasing its first-ever limited-edition hockey jersey, with only 75 units available worldwide
The jersey is available exclusively through the Chipotle Rewards Exchange starting April 18
Chipotle has labeled the opportunity a sweepstakes, though full redemption details remain unclear
Chipotle has been running its Hockey Jersey BOGO promotion every Stanley Cup Playoffs for six years, but this year it added something new: a limited-edition hockey jersey with only 75 units in existence. If you’ve been sitting on a pile of Chipotle Rewards points and wondering when to use them, this might be the moment. At 75 units total, this thing is about as scarce as fast food merchandise gets.
Chipotle’s first-ever limited-edition hockey jersey is inspired by the brand’s past Hockey Jersey BOGO campaigns and features “Chipper” on the back. The number on the back is 53, a nod to the 53 real ingredients on Chipotle’s core menu. It’s a well-designed piece of branded merch, as these things go, and the storytelling built into it gives it genuine collector appeal.
The jersey is available exclusively through the Chipotle Rewards Exchange, with the promotion window running from April 18 through May 2, 2026.
Chipotle has officially labeled this a sweepstakes, which means this likely isn’t a straightforward points-redemption situation. The official rules at chipotle.com/jersey-sweeps indicate a traditional sweepstakes structure with a free mail-in entry option, though the role Chipotle Rewards points play in the entry process hasn’t been spelled out clearly in the announcement.
If you’re planning to pursue one, keep an eye on the Chipotle Rewards Exchange starting April 18 for the full redemption details. Considering that a standard entree runs around 1,600 Chipotle points (~$160 spent), these limited edition jerseys might cost anywhere from 5,000 to 15,000 points. If you’re a Chipotle fanatic that’s been faithfully racking up points, your vindication day might be coming very soon.
Seventy-five units is an extremely small production run for a brand with over 4,000 locations and tens of millions of rewards members. For context, that’s fewer jerseys than there are players on a single NHL roster. Scarcity alone doesn’t guarantee resale value, but it’s a strong foundation.
One more thing worth knowing: on April 20, Chipotle is running its annual Hockey Jersey BOGO, where wearing any hockey jersey to a participating location after 3 p.m. gets you a free entrée with the purchase of one. It won’t flip for anything, but if you’re already eating there, it’s a free meal.
