Key Points

Nestle’s 12 Days of Toll House Advent Calendar retails for $29.99 with overnight shipping included
Several calendars from the sold-out October 9 drop have already sold for $100 or more
The next drops land November 6 and December 4 at 2pm ET, limited to one per household

Nestle’s first-ever advent calendar disappeared in its debut drop, and the few that have reached the secondary market are going for more than triple what buyers paid. Volume is thin, but that’s a strong early read on a product most buyers haven’t even received yet. Two more drops are scheduled before Christmas, and with a low buy-in, this is a solid flip for a few minutes at your keyboard. Just remember you’re flipping refrigerated food, which comes with headaches a pair of sneakers never will.

Nestle Cookie Dough Calendar Details

The calendar is shaped like the original Toll House Inn in Massachusetts, where Ruth Wakefield created the chocolate chip cookie, and its 12 doors double as holiday cards.

Behind them are six cookie doughs and six bags of morsels. The headliners are two new seasonal items, Snowflake Cookie Dough and Snowflake Morsels, alongside Santa’s Cookie Dough, Peppermint Cocoa Cookie Dough, and staples like Semi-Sweet and Butterscotch morsels.

It’s sold only through the Toll House advent calendar site, ships only within the contiguous U.S., and is capped at one per order and per household. October 9 orders ship about three weeks after purchase, so many first-drop buyers are still waiting. November and December orders ship in roughly a week.

The remaining drops go live November 6 and December 4 (National Cookie Day) at 2pm ET, per Nestle’s official announcement. Hit the Notify Me button on the product page and be logged in before 2pm.

A handful of orders from the initial drop have already sold on eBay for up to $100, and several more are listed for sale. These sellers are clearing over $50 in profit for each calendar they sell.

This is perishable. The calendar ships with a refrigerated inner box, and Nestle tells buyers to pull the dough and refrigerate it promptly, so you can’t stash a sealed box in the closet until December. You’re best off chucking yours in the freezer while you look for a buyer, and ship the box with a cold pack. Selling locally is also an option.

Bottom Line

It’s a $30 risk with a proven $100 ceiling and a hard Christmas deadline. Grab one November 6, have a shipping plan ready, and sell well before the 25th.
