Lucky Charms and Alysa Liu are giving away 25 custom co-branded cereal boxes
The sweepstakes runs through March 20, 2026, with winners contacted via Instagram DM by March 24
Only 25 boxes exist, and comparable limited athlete collabs have flipped for a few hundred dollars
Two-time Olympic gold medalist Alysa Liu has a thing for Lucky Charms, apparently to the point where a bowl of marshmallows is her profile picture. Lucky Charms noticed, and now there are 25 custom Alysa Liu x Lucky Charms boxes in the world. They are not for sale. Entering a sweepstakes is the only way to get one, which means these are about as limited as it gets.
Liu is a figure skating prodigy out of Oakland who became the youngest US ladies national champion in history at age 13. She went on to win two Olympic gold medals and has built a serious public following. Lucky Charms tapped her for a St. Patrick’s Day collab, producing a custom co-branded box featuring Liu alongside the brand’s iconic marshmallow imagery, with a personal note from her printed on the back.
General Mills is sponsoring the giveaway, and only 25 units were made. That’s it. No retail run, no online store, no second wave.
The sweepstakes is live now and closes at 11:59 PM CST on March 20, 2026. To enter:
One comment equals one entry. Winners will be selected at random and contacted by @luckycharms via Instagram DM by March 24. Open to US residents 18 and older.
Twenty-five units total makes this genuinely scarce. Limited athlete collabs with mainstream food brands don’t come around often, and when they do, the secondary market tends to reward the scarcity. A few hundred dollars is a reasonable expectation for a box in good condition, though actual sales data won’t exist until winners start listing.
Your odds depend on how many people enter, and if Liu’s fanbase and the figure skating community show up in force, those odds get long. If you do win, condition will matter for resale, so keep the box sealed and stored carefully.
This is worth the two minutes to enter. Worst case, you don’t win.
