Where did the time go?
Ninja has started selling a frozen drink maker called the SLUSHi
These are $300, and are sold out everywhere
Recent eBay sales have gone for more than $1,000
We have a pretty wild flip to look at today. Kitchen appliance manufacturer Ninja has recently started selling a line of home frozen drink makers, the Ninja Slushi. These quickly sold out at stores, online, and even on the TikTok shop. Now resellers are flipping their Ninja Slushis for incredible prices, sometimes more than double MSRP. These are still possible to find, and the potential profit is well worth the effort. Here’s what you need to know.
We’re well into summer at this point, and it’s been a hot one. The hottest summer on record, just like 2023 was, and 2022, and 2021, and… well, you get the idea. Strap in, because this trend won’t be reversing any time soon.
Fortunately, there are a lot of great ways to beat the heat. Crank up the AC in your house or car, swim in one of America’s beautiful and very clean municipal waterways, or chug ice cold beverages to keep cool and spike your blood sugar at the same time.
But why make the trek to your local 7/11 every time you need a Slurpee? You can make your very own frozen beverages at home with the Ninja Slushi.
Iced coffees, frozen soda, margaritas; the Ninja Slushi is an all-in-one countertop frozen drink maker that creates your beverage of choice in minutes, no ice needed. Five different preset programs are included to cover the basics, and you can tweak individual settings until your drink is just how you like it.
And when you’re done, just throw the removeable bits in the dishwasher, sit back down on the couch, and resume your Netflix session.
The Ninja Slushi is $300. It’s sold through Ninja’s online store, the TikTok shop, and also retailers like Target and Walmart in the kitchen appliance section. That said, the hype around the Slushi’s launch has been so strong that most of these options are sold out.
But that’s good news for us, as you can probably guessed. With all these frozen drink makers sold out and the nearest 7/11 almost a mile away, people have no choice but to bite the bullet and buy from a scalper.
Right now, brand new Ninja Slushi drink makers are reselling for up to $1,000. We’ve seen a decent number of sales in the last few weeks, usually around $500, but prices dramatically spiked in late July with several sales near or exceeding $1,000.
At $300 retail, resellers stand to more than double their money by flipping these Ninja Slushis. While they’re pretty much impossible to buy online at this point, your local brick-and-mortar retailers might have them in stock.
Buying them in person and reselling online could be an easy way to make a few hundred bucks this week. Or you could just keep it for personal use, if you’re the kind of person spending $300+ on frozen drinks a year.
We covered a similar product last year, the Ninja Creami. These countertop ice cream makers went viral on TikTok and were reselling for a few weeks, but once production caught up the market slowed down. Point being, this opportunity will not last. Get in while you can.
