Key Points

  • Graphic tees retail for $55, with hoodies at $140 and accessories starting at $50

  • All items are final sale with no returns or refunds, consistent with all Cactus Jack merchandise

  • The collection dropped without warning and is still live, but Cactus Jack releases have a habit of selling out fast

We’ve got a slew of graphic tees, hoodies, longsleeves, and hats that dropped yesterday through Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack brand. These are all based on the infamous “Gangster SpongeBob” meme that’s gone in viral rounds for the last decade or so. This was a surprise release that flew under most collectors’ radars, and it hasn’t sold out yet. If you’re looking to make a long term bet, this release is one of your best opportunities.

Cactus Jack X SpongeBob Drop Details

The Cactus Jack x SpongeBob capsule launched on Travis Scott’s official webstore and includes four graphic tees at $55 each, three hoodies at $140 and $160, a thermal longsleeve at $85, and two accessories (a beanie and a hat) at $50 apiece.

The tee designs pull from classic SpongeBob characters and episodes: Mr. Krabs, Chum Bucket, Krabby Patty, and DoodleBob. The SpongeBob X Mr. Krabs tee is probably the most compelling design, although everything from the collection is pretty solid.

The hoodies and longsleeve are higher-ticket items, which typically means lower sell-through volume but stronger margin per unit if demand is there.

Will These Clothes Resell?

Travis Scott collabs have a track record that’s hard to argue with. The 2020 Cactus Jack x McDonald’s collection is the clearest benchmark: $45 graphic tees from that drop were flipping for $150 to $300 on eBay and StockX for years afterward, as we covered when the McDonald’s tee restocked in October 2025. That collab became genuinely iconic, referenced in memes and worn by celebrities long after the initial hype died down.

SpongeBob has a similarly deep cultural footprint. The show has been a meme staple for over a decade, and the overlap between Travis Scott’s fanbase and people who grew up watching SpongeBob is basically everyone between 18 and 35.

That said, this isn’t a guaranteed flip. The McDonald’s collab succeeded in part because it was tied to an actual fast-food promotion with massive mainstream reach. This is a standard merchandise drop, which is a step down from that. The ceiling is lower, and how high it goes depends on how much organic attention the collection continues to build.

The tees are the right play at $55. A tee selling for $110 nets roughly $42 in profit after eBay’s 13% fee, which is reasonable for a collab that required zero hunting. The hoodies have more upside but carry more risk if the collection doesn’t catch fire.

Bottom Line

All Cactus Jack merchandise is final sale. There are no returns, no refunds, and no recourse if you can’t move these. That’s the standard policy across Travis’s shop, and it’s non-negotiable.

This is a holding play more than a quick flip. You should expect to sit on these for a while, potentially months, before the right buyer shows up at the right price. If you need your capital back quickly, this isn’t the move. If you have room to hold and believe in the long-term value of the Travis Scott brand, the buy-in is low enough to justify a piece or two.

Don’t overextend. Cop what you’re comfortable potentially losing.
