The Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low Golf releases on Friday, October 13th
The shoe retails for $170 and will be sold through golf stores and the SNKRS App
Resell prices are currently $1,000 and will still be profitable after release
Reports of the Travis Scott x Jordan line’s death have been greatly exaggerated. On Friday, Nike releases the new Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low Golf, and it’s sure to be a home run for resellers.
Nike has confirmed that the shoe will be releasing on Friday, October 13th, for a retail price of $170.
The Travis Scott AJ1 Low Golf is primarily made of brown suede and white leather, as while as muted neon accents on both the tongue and heel stamps. Like most Travis Scott Nike collaborations, it features a backwards Nike Swoosh. It will come with a special edition box as well as a few extra sets of laces.
Social media is running rampant with rumors about the shoe, with many speculating that it could be one of the most limited Travis Scott Nike releases to date. While nothing has been confirmed, it would stand to reason that this shoe will be limited compared to other drops given its more niche nature of a golfing sneaker.
Given the release’s insane hype, it’s likely that these sneakers will sell out very quickly. We expect them to be carried by a number of smaller boutique shops that sell Jordan Golf brand shoes, however, expect most of these stores to sell exclusively via raffle (in fact, there’s already one live via Bisque Golf).
While it’s certainly worth keeping a sharp eye out for more of these boutique raffles as they pop up closer to release day, the largest number of pairs will be released via the Nike SNKRS App on release day itself (October 13th).
Last but not least, it’s also likely that we’ll see a raffle for the shoes on Travis Scott’s webstore. Expect this a couple of days before release.
As of this writing, the cheapest Travis Scott AJ1 Golf listed on StockX (of any size) is currently $1,034. There have also been dozens of sales in the past few days, almost all of which took place north of the thousand dollar mark, which illustrates some serious demand.
That being said, aftermarket prices are sure to drop post-release for this shoe, as is almost always the case with Travis Scott Jordans. We anticipate the resell price after October 13th will probably fall to between $450 and $600+, depending on size. Resell prices for larger pairs, such as size 13, 14, and 15 are usually highest, however there is notably a lower chance to successfully get these shoes from a raffle as they are produced in much smaller quantities.
All in all, this release is worth trying to buy for any reseller. If you score a pair, you’re looking at a few hundred dollars in profit. Best of luck!
