Trader Joe’s has brought their canvas mini totes back
They come in four colors for $3
The sold-out bags are flipping for up to $30
There’s no better way to ring in spring then with a juicy cook. Trader Joe’s has spun up a new line of their popular canvas mini totes, this time finished in a range of Easter-appropriate pastels. The last time these bags hit stores, TJ fanatics and resellers cleaned out shelves within minutes of their stocking. Before long they were flipping for nearly ten times what they retailed for. Now they’re back, and it won’t be long before history repeats itself. Let’s get into it.
There’s no denying it – spring has sprung. The trees are getting greener, the weather is shifting, and you can actually walk outside in shorts for a few minutes without getting hypothermia.
And of course, corporate America is spinning up new ways to capitalize on the moment. Trader Joe’s has revived one of their most popular products of 2024: their canvas mini totes. We’ve covered these bags three times now as they’ve pumped out different variants, and they’ve been profitable every time.
The latest example is their pastel canvas mini tote. As you can probably guess, these are a shrunken version of their popular reusable canvas bags, finished in four different shades: Delicate Pink, Baby Blue, Mint Green, and Lovely Lavender.
@erica_grace1 The mini pastel bags are in!!! RUN!! #traderjoes #minitotebags #traderjoestotebag #pasteltotebags #traderjoesminitotebag
Trader Joe’s sold their pastel mini canvas totes for just $3, and like all of their products they were only available in-store; no online sales.
Customers are limited to a maximum of four bags. The bags are rolling out at stores across the country right now, with some stores beginning to stock theirs yesterday and others starting today.
If you’re looking to buy one, it might be worth calling nearby Trader Joe’s stores to ask if they’ve begun stocking them. In any case, we strongly recommend getting there early; pretty much every store is selling out of their pastel mini canvas totes within minutes of the store opening.
It’s not every day that you can actually make a profit on a trip to the grocery store. If you’re on the fence about buying some of these bags, allow us to show you what they’re going for on eBay.
Right now, Trader Joe’s pastel mini canvas totes are reselling for up to $30, with full sets flipping for as much as $150. This represents a potential profit of more than $100 from a single run to the store.
With a retail price of just $3, this is essentially a zero risk flip. With how popular these bags are, we think pretty much every reseller should be going for this flip. Trader Joe’s has labeled them as a limited edition product, and we’re guessing they probably won’t be around past Easter.
So get moving! You can find a list of Trader Joe’s locations here, and make sure to get to stores early. TikTok is all over this drop, and there are plenty of Trader Joe’s superfans out there competing with you. Still, snagging a full set is well worth the effort.
