Sydney Sweeney sold her bathwater in the form of Dr. Squatch soap
5,000 bars were made and sold for $8 online
Resellers are flipping them for $250 to $400
Normal, well-adjusted men had the opportunity to buy Sydney Sweeney’s bathwater earlier this week. The soap was produced as a collaboration with Dr. Squatch with real Eau de Sweeney pressed into each bar. This was a limited edition drop with a considerable amount of hype around it, and all the soap sold out fast. Now we’re seeing it trade hands on eBay for more than thirty times the retail price. Let’s get into it.
Remember when you were a kid and your mom threatened to wash your mouth out with soap? If you picked up a paraphilia from that, Dr. Squatch just dropped an absolute grail for you.
Sydney Sweeney has provided her real, actual bathwater to be manufactured into 5,000 bars of soap for Dr. Squatch. Formulated with scents like pine bark and sand, Dr. Squatch promises this soap will make you smell like “Morning Wood”.
The collaboration came about after Sweeney starred in a Dr. Squatch ad last year. Evidently, there were enough fans begging for her bathwater that they elected to bottle it, blend it with a bunch of shit, and put it up for sale.
“Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss” was sold exclusively through Dr. Squatch’s website for $8 on June 6. Customers were limited to a maximum of four, and only 5,000 bars were produced in total. Aside from yesterday’s sale, 100 bars were set aside for a giveaway held through Dr. Squatch’s Instagram.
As you can probably guess, horny dudes were on this drop like… well, horny dudes on Sydney Sweeney’s bathwater. All of the available stock sold out fast, with many buyers facing hourlong queue times on Dr. Squatch’s site.
Listen, we don’t judge. We’ve covered all kinds of weird stuff that flips, from mustard-flavored Skittles to vinyl records filled with real human blood. If people want to blow their money (among other things) on Sydney Sweeney’s bathwater in soap form, well, let them.
In any case, bars of Sydney Sweeney bathwater soap are absolutely flying on eBay. We’re tracking sales anywhere from $250 to nearly $400 every hour.
Considering these bars retailed for just $8 and customers could buy up to four, resellers stand to make more than $1,000 in straight up profit from this soap. We’d take that deal.
Of course, that’s only if you resist the temptation to keep this soap for your own… uses. Again, we don’t judge, but we’re hoping that greed will beat out lust this time.
