Sydney Sweeney is selling bars of soap made with her bathwater
Just 5,000 were made, with 100 being raffled through Dr. Squatch’s website
These could flip for hundreds
It’s looking like an exciting week for the most obnoxious men on the internet. Manosphere darling Sydney Sweeney has teamed up with the scientists at Dr. Squatch to produce a limited edition line of soaps. The secret ingredient? Sydney’s own dirty slightly used bathwater, mixed with pine scents and an exfoliating scrub for one of the weirdest bars of soap out there. Just 100 of these will be raffled away, and we’re excited to see what they’ll go for on eBay.
So, what does your hygiene routine look like? Hopefully you can find some time to shower at least, but many men are skipping out on important steps like exfoliation, proper skincare, and washing your legs. If you’ve got some empty space in your shower, you need to check out today’s featured product.
Sydney Sweeney has announced that she’ll be selling her actual, factual bathwater as part of a collaboration with Dr. Squatch. The water is formulated as part of “Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss” bar soap, along with other scents that Dr. Squatch claims will make you smell like “Morning Wood”.
The promo follows a major surge in interest for Sydney Sweeney online (read: her boobs went viral). Sweeney sat down with GQ to talk about the collaboration.
I honestly think it’s a really fun, full-circle moment, because fans always joke about wanting my bath water…I was like, This is just such a cool way to have a conversation with the audience and give them what they want. But then also hopefully encourage them to take care of themselves in a healthy way.
Hear that dudes? Washing your pits and bits is Sydney Sweeney-approved. While we’re guessing most men that get their hands on this soap won’t actually use it for washing, we hope that they pick up some other hygiene products from Dr. Squatch during the drop.
Speaking of which, let’s get into the details on the Sydney Sweeney X Dr. Squath Bathwater soap. For starters, Dr. Squatch has made it clear this is a super-limited drop. Just 5,000 bars of the soap will be produced; any more and Sydney would need to take second bath.
Dr. Squatch will initially release their Sydney Sweeney Bathwater Soap through a limited raffle. 100 bars will be given away to lucky winners on June 5. You can enter right now through Dr. Squatch’s website or through this Instagram post. Read the contest rules here.
The remaining 4,900 bars of Sydney Sweeney Bathwater Soap will be sold on Dr. Squatch’s site on June 6 for $8. Dr. Squatch has not confirmed an explicit release time or quantity limit, so stay tuned for more details.
Of course, as resellers we’re interested in this drop for purely financial reasons. Sure, the average reseller might be a hormonal 16 to 25 year old male and perfectly within the target audience for a line of soap made from Sydney Sweeney’s bathwater, but that’s irrelevant.
So what are these soaps actually worth? We don’t exactly have any identical products to compare this to, but we can try.
The obvious comparison is Belle Delphine’s limited edition bathwater. The e-girl pornstar niche internet celebrity sold jars of her bathwater for $30 a pop, theoretically netting her over $90,000 in profit until PayPal screwed her over.
Isn’t PayPal the worst? In any case, clever gamers have continued to flip sealed jars of Belle Delphine’s bathwater over the last few years, with sales ranging into hundreds of dollars.
And Sydney Sweeney’s Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi profited from a similar product last year, selling a line of bathwater-infused candles as part of a three-way collaboration with Etsy and Amazon. Jacob Elordi’s bathwater candles sold for $35 online, but they failed to sell out and have not resold.
We’re projecting a much more profitable fate for Sydney Sweeney’s Bathwater Soap. For one, this collection is getting a ton of coverage online. GQ, USAToday, People, and many other publications are running stories on the drop and building hype for next week’s drop
And point two? Dudes are horny. Dudes are especially horny for Sydney Sweeney. Her Instagram post announcing the soap racked up over 150,000 likes and 5,000 comments in a few hours, with most of them some derivative of “I am going to eat as many bars of this soap as I can buy“.
We are looking at a nuclear slam dunk for resellers. Expect to see bars of Sydney Sweeney’s Bathwater Soap flip for $100 or $200, and even up to $1,000 for a bar is possible. With 5,000 bars produced this won’t be a super-limited drop, but it should ensure a quick sell-out and lots of eBay sales.
Make sure you’re subscribed to our newsletter to stay updated on this flip and other, less stupid ones. We’re hard at work scouring the internet for the latest products to resell, so join the fun and make a buck today.
