SDCC Exclusive Mezco Casey Jones Figures Resell for $240

We see all kinds of cool products drop during Comic-Con. Last weekend, Mezco debuted a new One:12 figure of Casey Jones from TMNT, and collectors went wild for it. After the event, these figures have been steadily reselling for more than double what they retailed for. Even if you couldn’t make the event, Mezco has an open waitlist for these figures to be sold via lottery. If you manage to win, expect to double your money, or more.

Mezco One:12 Casey Jones Figures

There’s nothing like a good figure and a nice jar to really excite collectors. No matter your hyperfixation, we’re sure there are plenty of multicolored, articulated, handpainted and expensive toys for you to spend your money on.

For SDCC, Mezco Toys dropped a new addition to their line of One:12 collection. These Mezco Casey Jones figures are based on the character’s appearance in the classic 80s series, complete with his mask and multiple outfits.

And a golf bag over the back carries a smorgasbord of weaponry, from baseball bats to golf clubs. The One:12 collection is a set of 1:12 scale figures based on all kinds of IPs, with a strong focus on detail and articulation; 32 points in the case of Casey Jones.

These figures originally dropped during in July during San Diego Comic-Con. They were exclusively available through Mezco’s booth, and were extremely popular. They cost $120.

With such an exclusive release and an extensive collector base, these figures were primed to well on eBay. We’ve seen plenty of sales for well above retail.

Right now, Mezco Casey Jones figures are reselling for around $240. We’re not sure how many collectors were able to get the figures they wanted at SDCC, but it clearly wasn’t enough.

At $240 a pop on eBay, these figures represent a pretty straightforward opportunity to double your money. Stock was limited so getting multiple figures probably wasn’t very feasible, but it’s still a great flip.

If you’re bummed out that you couldn’t make it to SDCC, don’t feel too bad. These figures will be available for online sale very soon.

Mezco currently has an waitlist open for One:12 Casey Jones figures. There won’t be enough to go around so it’ll ultimately come down to luck if you’re able to buy. Don’t hesitate if you get the opportunity.

And one small piece of advice: when you join the waitlist, use a credit card. If you choose to pay with PayPal or a debit card, you’ll be charged immediately and refunded if your name isn’t selected. With a credit card, you can defer the payment until you’re actually selected to buy, or the charge falls off.
