Key Points

  • Saucy Survival kits are available while supplies last at Dave’s Hot Chicken for $13

  • They include a functional plastic stimpak replica

  • Resellers are flipping the toys for up to $30

Here’s an easy way to boost your caloric intake and your income this week. Dave’s Hot Chicken launched their Fallout-themed Saucy Survival meal this week, and they include a plastic replica of the iconic Stimpak. While these are intended to inject ranch or hot sauce into your food, resellers are choosing to list them for sale online to Fallout fans. At the prices we’re seeing, this will more than pay for your meal.

Dave's Hot Chicken Fallout Meals

Fallout isn’t just hot right now, it’s nuclear. The TV series brought the decades-old game franchise to mainstream audiences, and Season 2 is dropping new episodes every Wednesday through February. While the diehards are divided, there’s no question the series is bringing new eyes onto the series (too bad the next game is still a decade away)

The Dave’s x Fallout Saucy Survival Kit dropped January 7th and comes with a functional stimpak sauce injector modeled after the healing items from the post-apocalyptic series. Fallout Season 2 just launched in December with a 98% Rotten Tomatoes score, and the timing couldn’t be better for this collab.

The meals are available at nearly 400 Dave’s Hot Chicken locations nationwide while supplies last. You can order either the Dave’s x Fallout Saucy Survival Kit with 10-piece Saucy Bites, or the version with a single slider. Both come with fries, ranch, the Fallout-branded box, and the stimpak toy.

Many stores already sold through their initial allocation. Multiple fans on social media reported showing up to find the stimpaks gone. Dave’s hasn’t confirmed whether they’ll restock, and their “while supplies last” messaging suggests this could be it.

Dave's Hot Chicken Stimpaks Resell

Dave’s Hot Chicken Fallout stimpaks are reselling right now for around $30. Considering the $13 entry point, this pencils out to modest profits that more than pay for the price of the meal. You can flip these in bulk too (please don’t just throw the food out)

Daves Chicken Fallout Stimpak for Sale

The functional aspect of the stimpak sets it apart from typical fast food toys. It’s not just a plastic display piece; you can actually use it as a sauce injector. That practical element plus the Fallout branding gives it staying power beyond the initial hype cycle.

Fallout merchandise has a proven track record with collectors. The franchise has maintained a dedicated fanbase since the 1990s, and the TV show massively expanded that audience. Props and replicas from the series consistently perform well on secondary markets.

Bottom Line

This is a solid opportunity if you can still find locations with inventory, but don’t drive across town specifically for it. The profit is there but modest, and many places have already sold out. If you’re already near a Dave’s Hot Chicken, it’s worth checking, especially since you’re getting a meal out of it either way.

Keep in mind this is final sale; the meals can’t be returned. You’re committing to the purchase whether the stimpak flips or not.
