Capri Sun dropped limited edition pouches for the Summer Solstice
The fifteen inch pouches sold online for just $1.50
They sold out in minutes and are reselling for up to $100
What was the last thing you spent $100 on? Groceries? An oil change? A deluxe edition of a game you’ll stop playing in a few weeks? If you’re on the hunt for something stupid to waste your money on, we’ve got you covered. Capri Sun just released a commemorative “Summer Solstice” juice pouch measuring in at 15 inches of plastic and corn syrup. Both drops sold out fast, and now they’re flipping for ridiculous margins. Let’s get into it.
Hey, would you look at that. Today marks the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. It’s a nice reminder that 2025 is already half over, so hopefully you’ve done something productive in the last six months.
Capri Sun took the opportunity to create commemorative Summer Solstice juice pouches. These are extra-extra-EXTRA long pouches, measuring out to more than a foot in length and holding 20 ounces of their finest juice.
The pouch’s 15-inch length is a nod to the solstice’s fifteen hours of sunlight, and the massive girth is a reference to American’s love of shitty sugary drinks that they loved as kids. Capri Sun sold the pouches through two timed drops on June 16 and 17 as an exclusive partnership with Walmart.
Capri Sun’s Summer Solstice pouch sold for just $1.50. It’s unclear how many pouches were sold during each drop, but we do know they sold out in under five minutes each time. Capri Sun has made it clear that the pouches will not be restocking, so bad news if you missed out.
Of course, there are always helpful resellers out there looking to assist Capri Sun fans that didn’t get their pouch. Following this week’s sales, we’ve seen a number of listings go up for these pouches.
Right now, Capri Sun Summer Solstice pouches are reselling for up to $100 on eBay. As a niche item there aren’t many sales, but what we’ve seen is very promising.
Would you pay $100 for a 15″ plastic pouch? Maybe not, but we’d hope that you’d resell it for that much. Considering these retailed for just $1.50, resellers that got in on either of these drops just scored a ton of profit for minimal effort.
If that kind of opportunity is interesting to you, you’re on the right website. Make sure you subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated on the latest flips. We’ll catch you on the next one.
