iam8bit is Restocking the Alan Wake Oh Deer Diner Thermos

First, a little backstory if you’re unfamiliar with the brand. iam8bit is an online retailer that sells a variety of video game collectibles. From original vinyl to clothing to bespoke replicas of in-game items, the brand is extremely popular with gamers.

And that means it’s popular with resellers too. We’ve covered several of iam8bit’s previous releases, and they know to hype up a product.

Last year, they produced a limited run of Oh Deer Diner Thermoses based on an identical design featured in the video game “Alan Wake II”. These are used as the game’s primary save point, so players are very familiar with them.

The $30 thermoses quickly sold out, and they restocked infrequently and in limited numbers after the initial drop. Many gamers have been begging iam8bit for a restock, and they’ll be getting their wish tomorrow.

As part of a larger collection centered around Remedy’s 30th anniversary, iam8bit will be restocking their Oh Deer Diner Alan Wake Thermos through their webstore.

The price has been bumped up to $40 this time, and iam8bit has made it clear this will be the final restock for the thermos.

These thermoses, along with the rest of the collection, will restock at 9 AM PDT through iam8bit’s webstore. As a limited edition product, iam8bit will be limiting customers to one thermos, and we’re expecting to sell out fast.

If the last drop is anything to go by, we expect to iam8bit’s Alan Wake 2 Oh Deer Diner Thermos resell for major profits. Last year, resellers were flipping them for around $100 at a time.

iam8bit is clearly aware of the reseller interest in these, and has warned that botters or buyers attempting to bypass the quantity limit will have their orders canned, and they will be manually reviewing each purchase.

Whether they’ll be successful is unclear, but there is an important silver lining to consider. If iam8bit is intent on cancelling suspicious orders, it’s likely that they will (quietly) restock the thermos in limited numbers shortly after tomorrow’s sale. Keep an eye out for additional stock being loaded after the thermos sells out.
