The Air Jordan 4 is Dominating 2025

The Jordan brand is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and to commemorate the milestone they’re leaning heavily into one of its most popular models ever, the Jordan 4.

The Jordan Retro 4 is having a huge 2025. With several profitable releases like the AJ4 Nigel Sylvester “Brick By Brick” and Jordan 4 SB Navy already in the books and about a dozen still to drop over the course of the year, we felt it was only fair to give a bonafide classic its due. Let’s dive into some of the most anticipated AJ4 releases coming this year.

Talk about a classic. One of the earliest renditions of the Jordan 4 Tinker Hatfield designed in 1989, the Jordan 4 “White Cement” is making its first reappearance since 2016. This is the kind of shoe you wear to a summer BBQ with a fresh white tee and then regret it when your drink spills on them. If you’re a serious sneakerhead you might need one to rock and one to stock.

This Jordan 4 “White Cement” will be available at retailers on May 24th in full family sizing, but early pairs are already selling on StockX in the $350-$400 range. We expect larger mens sizes to rake in the best margins, but all mens and grade school sizes should be profitable. Try to line up a local sale to avoid the release date price dip and those profit draining seller fees.

If you’ve been in the sneaker game long enough to recognize this shoe, you know you’re looking at a grail. Originally released in 2005 with only 72 pairs available to the public, the Undefeated x Jordan 4 was one of the most coveted Nike shoes ever made.

It was the first ever collaboration between Nike and a boutique, and 20 years later Undefeated is still just that, undefeated. Typically mentioned in the same breath as legends like the Eminem Encore and Eminem x Carhartt x Jordan 4, these retro Jordans are sure to show strong margins.

Don’t expect them to hit the thousands the F&F models sold for, but it would not be a stretch of the imagination to see this retro in the conversation for sneaker of the year. The Undefeated Jordan 4 is scheduled to release June 21st, and will be available in 2 versions; one with Jordan branding on the heel and one with the original Nike Air branding.

This AJ4 may remind you of similar colorways you’ve seen in recent years. Namely the very profitable Jordan 4 “Taupe Haze” from 2021 and the unreleased Travis Scott x Jordan 4 “Olive” sample from 2018.

Featuring very neutral tones, the Jordan 4 “Cave Stone” will likely be a big hit in the fall. It’s expected to release September 6th in full family sizing, and should perform well through the holiday season.

Making its return in full family sizing on Black Friday, the properly named Jordan 4 “Black Cat” is sure to show strong margins over the holidays. After its last release in 2020, this classic colorway only appreciated in value as supply became scarce. It would cost you about ~$800 to grab one of the few pairs left on StockX.

The only reported change on the 2025 version will be the OG Nike Air branding on the heel. This colorway was not particularly limited upon release, but we understand how a blacked out classic like this garners enough demand for hefty profits. It goes to show that the Jordan 4 is, and will likely remain, one of the most popular silhouettes in the catalog.
