Key Points

  • Bratziez retail for $25 per blind box with six different characters to collect plus two rare editions

  • Labubu blind boxes retail around $28 but regularly flip for $55 to $300+ depending on rarity

  • All sales are final with a four-box purchase limit per customer

In the latest inane crossover from 2025, MGA is taking a rip at the Labubu craze with their very own line of “Bratziez”. This six-doll collection is dropping exclusively as a blind box, including rare variants that are sure to drive collector interest. You’ve got a few hours to get ready, so don’t miss this one if you’re hoping to secure some easy cash before the holidays. Here are the facts.

Bratziez Labubu Collection

The Bratziez Iconz Seriez include(z) six plush keychains with hard faceplates and soft bodies. You’ve got Angel (pig), Bunny Boo (rabbit), Kool Kat (cat), and Pretty Princess (frog) as the standard pulls, plus two rare characters named Sugar and Spice. Each comes with an 8-inch size including the ribbon and lip-shaped clasp, a baby bottle accessory, and an authentication certificate.

The blind box format means you won’t know which one you’re getting until you open it. Sound familiar? That’s because Bratz is directly copying the Labubu playbook that turned $28 blind boxes into $149+ resales for rare variants

If you’ve been paying attention to collectibles this year, you know Labubu has absolutely dominated. Pop Mart’s market cap hit $43 billion in June 2025, surpassing Mattel and Sanrio combined. The blind box format creates instant scarcity and that gambling-style dopamine hit that keeps collectors buying multiple boxes.

As of March 2025, Labubu became the number one collectible on StockX, with unopened blind boxes starting at $55 compared to their $22 retail price. The rare “secret” figures? Those can pull hundreds or even thousands.

And it’s even spawned a market for profitable knockoffs. Even BuzzBallz got in on the fun, launching a “Labuzzy” spoof that flipped for up to $250 on eBay.

Bratz clearly saw those numbers and decided they wanted in, and resellers know better than to let easy money pass them by.

August Dahl Bratzbubus

Here’s where it gets messy. Some collectors are claiming Bratz pulled heavy inspiration from August Dahl, a well-known custom doll artist who’s built a following creating detailed Bratz repaints and customs. Dahl’s work featured a line of custom “Bratzbubu” dolls that blended both IPs, and he sells his designs for up to $100.

Whether there’s actual copying going on isn’t confirmed, but the chatter is already happening in collector circles. This could either add controversy hype or turn some collectors off entirely.

Will Bratziez Resell?

Let’s be real about what you’re looking at here. Labubu proved there’s massive appetite for cute blind box collectibles with keychain attachments, and we all know how well Bratz dolls have been performing in 2025.

The $24.99 retail price point is actually slightly cheaper than standard Labubu boxes, which gives you better margin potential if these hit similar multiples on the secondary market.

Our thoughts? Buy as many as you can and list them high after the drop sells out. Bratz collectors have notoriously poor impulse control, so pulling triple digit profits on launch day is not out of the question.

Bratziez drops exclusively on Bratz.com today at 2:30PM PT (5:30PM ET). The site lists a four-box purchase limit, so plan accordingly. No word yet on wider retail availability, which could keep this online exclusive and drive up demand.

We recommend selling the boxes as-is. Opening the boxes is pretty risky, but could generate extra profits if pull one of the rarer Sugar or Spice Bratziez. The safer play is to take your profits and let someone else rip the pack.

Bottom Line

This is final sale only, meaning no refunds if you can’t flip them. That’s a real consideration given this is Bratz’s first attempt at the blind box market. You’re essentially betting that the Bratz brand name plus the Labubu trend equals instant sell-outs.

If Labubu taught us anything, it’s that blind box plush keychains are printing money right now. Bratz has built-in nostalgia appeal and a loyal collector base. The format works. The question is whether lightning strikes twice or if the market’s already oversaturated with toothy plush creatures.

At $25 a box with a four-box limit, you’re looking at $100 investment max. Given how Labubu has performed, that’s not a crazy gamble if you can actually secure a drop slot. Good luck, and let us know if you scored some profits after the drop.
