Sony and Reebok just announced a three-sneaker collection dropping in October that’s got gamers and resellers excited. Combining the iconic gray colorway from the original PlayStation console, limited edition packaging, and region-specific releases, this is definitely one to watch. If you watched the PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary bundle flip for $3,000-$5,000+ on eBay last year, you know exactly why this matters.

Three different Reebok X PlayStation shoes will be releasing next month. Each is limited to a particular region; Japan, the UK, and the US.

Pump Omni Zone II - US (NYC)

US exclusive at $220 MSRP. Custom pump ball in PlayStation’s signature colors, two lace options with metal tips, removable lacelock cable, and plastic lace dubraes styled like console buttons. Hidden text shows the US launch date of 9/9/1995. Available through CNCPTS NY.

InstaPump Fury 94 - Japan

Releases exclusively in Japan through Beams starting October 24th. Features a “Press Play” pump ball, memory card-style tongue label, and the original Japan launch date (12/3/1994) hidden inside. At ¥37,000, that’s roughly $250 USD.

Workout Plus - UK

Resellers Eye Sony X Reebok Collab

When PlayStation dropped their 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro bundle in September 2024, it sold out instantly and immediately hit eBay for $3,000-$5,000. Confirmed sales consistently landed in the $4,000-$5,200 range. To this day, the entire collection has held its value and continues to flip for a profit.

The common thread is the retro flat gray colorway. PlayStation fans went absolutely wild for anything in the original console’s color scheme, and these sneakers have that exact same aesthetic.

Here’s the catch though: we don’t know stock numbers or exact release times. The PS5 worked because of extreme scarcity. If Reebok produces these in standard limited edition quantities (10,000-20,000+ pairs per model), resale potential could drop significantly.

The regional exclusivity adds another layer. Each design only releases in its specific region, so US resellers can only cop the Pump Omni Zone II locally. Want all three? You’re dealing with international shipping and customs. But this also creates a unique cross-regional market for collectors looking to buy pairs that weren’t available in their market.

PlayStation Reebok Stacking Box Bundles

There’s also a bundle containing all three sneakers in individually numbered “Stacking Box” packaging. No pricing announced, but this could be the highest value item if production is genuinely limited. Expect this to be the hardest to secure.

According to the promotional image, just 750 of these will be produced. It’s unknown if that’s per-region or globally, although we’re guessing the latter. We’re expecting these to be available for around or just under $1,000, and will be the holy grail of the collab.

Will These Resell?

At $220 retail for the US model, even a 2x flip to $440 nets you around $360 profit after eBay’s 13% fees. If these hit PS5 Anniversary levels of hype and reach $400-$600, you’re looking at $300-$500 profit per pair. The bundle could command even higher premiums if it’s as limited as we suspect.

The UK drop on October 15th is your litmus test. If those sell out instantly through END and resale prices immediately jump, that confirms the hype is real for the US release days later.
