If you’ve got space on your wall and cash in your wallet, check out these special edition Dead & Co posters. First sold during the band’s shows at the Sphere in March, a very limited number of copies were sold online yesterday. These were individually numbered and signed by the artist, and highly collectable. All of the available stock sold out in minutes, and we’re expecting to see these signed versions resell for hundreds of dollars over what they retailed for. Let’s get into it.

F4D Dead and Co Signed Sphere Posters

First, a little backstory. Dead & Company started their second residency at the Las Vegas Sphere this March, with a total of eighteen concerts planned all the way through to May.

It’s an opportunity for Grateful Dead fans to see the cover band play live. Like any concert, exclusive merch has also been up for a sale. A number of limited edition posters have been sold during each weekend, and they’re quite collectable among fans.

What we’re looking at today are the Weekend 2 Sphere posters. These were produced by the artist Bioworkz, and originally sold for $200 at the event. They depict a jellyfish built from classic Dead imagery.

Just 450 of these were sold at the event and became a fan favorite. Following the drop, Bioworkz teamed with F4D Studio to produce an even more limited run of the poster for online sale.

Yesterday morning, 48 numbered and signed copies of the Weekend 2 Dead and Co. Sphere posters were sold for $225. The artist’s signature can be seen in the bottom left corner of the poster.

Considering the standard posters were already highly limited, this autographed run was extremely collectable. This was likely the last time this particular poster will be available for sale directly from the artist.

Fortunately for collectors, at least a few of these posters have made their way into the hands of resellers. After all, if you’re willing to throw $200 at a poster, what’s a few hundred more?

Right now, Dead & Co Weekend 2 Sphere posters are reselling for as much as $400. Because of how limited these are, it’s hard to find many sales. Still, what we’ve seen is very promising.

And it’s worth noting that only the standard edition posters have flipped thus far. It might take some time before we see a signed poster resell, but we’re expecting to see prices of upwards of $500, possibly even $700 based on similar drops.
