Mondo Batman Beyond Figures Flip for 3X MSRP

Batman Beyond was a hit cartoon and comic book series that first premiered in 1999. Set in a futuristic Gotham City, an elderly Bruce Wayne recruits a troubled teen named Terry McGinnis to carry the torch of the Dark Knight.

With a new generation, high-tech Batsuit and tons of new gear, Terry was able to take the Batman we know and love in a new direction. The show only ran until 2001, and it seems like fans have been long awaiting some sort of reboot. With all the other renditions of Batman and The Joker we’ve seen over the years, it is a bit surprising we haven’t seen Terry McGinnis make a comeback.

In the meantime, fans and collectors are going to have to make due with this well crafted PVC figure. Mondo really goes the extra mile creating premium collectibles with accents and details you just won’t find elsewhere.

Mondo Batman Beyond 1/6 Terry figures were available for preorder in November 2024. Mondo pushed out a lengthy blog post ahead of the release, touting the strict quantity limit of 1,000 units. The figures would be available for $225, and were expected to ship in April 2025.

And would you look at that, it’s almost April (2025). Now that these toys are about to ship, collectors that missed out are faced with a hard decision: be responsible with your money or fork over an assload of cash to a reseller.

If you know anything about collectors, you can probably guess where we are. Right now, Mondo Batman Beyond Terry figures are reselling for over $600, nearly triple their MSRP.

Even with the low sales volume, this was another high margin, lowkey flip for attentive resellers. We’ve seen Mondo collectibles do well in the past, like this limited edition Cyclops figure we covered last year, so we make sure to keep them on the radar.
