Wicked Stanley Tumbler Collection Drops at Target Tomorrow

There’s nothing Hollywood loves more than a good remake. If you haven’t heard, the Broadway show “Wicked” is finally getting a film adaptation, itself being an adaptation of a book that retold the story of “The Wizard of Oz”.

Starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo in the lead roles, the film’s release is just around the corner. Naturally, marketing cycles are in full swing right now, and all the money flowing out will just as soon come crashing back in.

Brands are jumping on the opportunity to put out licensed collaborations ahead of the premiere. We got confirmation earlier this month that Stanley would be joining in, and resellers are especially interested.

Stanley’s Wicked collection features two tumbler designs based on the characters Elphaba and Glinda. The Elphaba Stanley tumblers are a rich green with gold accents, while Glinda’s are bubblegum pink, and lightly freckled with metal flakes.

The Wicked Stanley tumblers will be available in either 40oz or 20oz sizes. 40oz tumblers are $55, while the 20s are $35.

Special finishes aside, these are identical to Stanley’s industry-dominating Quencher 2.0 tumblers. Double-walled insulation, spill-resistant lids, and a dollop of lead for optimal temperature regulation.

Stanley has confirmed that their Wicked collaboration will be releasing on October 13. Notably, this is a Target exclusive. You will not be able to buy these tumblers anywhere else, including Stanley’s website.

And while Target stores will begin stocking the tumblers tomorrow morning, it might be possible to snag one through the app a little earlier. Target usually updates their online listings at midnight, meaning that this collection will probably be going up for sale in less than 24 hours.
