It seems like the Wicked fever isn’t over yet. Following the film’s release and widespread positive reception, it’s beginning to make its way to home media. Limited edition Wicked gift sets are being listed through Amazon this month and are currently sold out. If you were actively reselling during the film’s premiere, you know how much money Wicked fans are willing to pay to have their merch. With the gift sets sold out, resellers are already turning a profit on them with more on the way. Let’s take a look.

These include a collector’s box, gold bookends based on the main characters’ headwear, alternate cuts including a singalong version of the film, and certificate of authenticity.

Wicked limited edition gift sets are $240, and as of this publication they are exclusively available for preorder through Amazon. No ship date is listed, but the first batch of preorders sold out quickly.

If you spent any time reselling during Wicked’s release, you won’t be surprised to hear these gift sets are reselling. Wicked fans can’t get enough of this movie, even if that means forking over hundreds for an overpriced and unimpressive “collector’s edition.”

Right now, Wicked limited edition gift sets are reselling for around $350. We’ve seen a ton of sales for these since they were first listed on Amazon, with no signs of things slowing down soon.

Resellers that got in on this were able to profit around $100 or so per sale. The best part? The fun isn’t over yet. While the current batch of preorders is sold out, we’re expecting Amazon to restock soon. Additionally, it’s possible other retailers will be listing some for sale as we get closer to the release date.
