What is the Nex Playground?

The Nex Playground costs $200, and is available through most major retailers. After positive reviews from mommy bloggers and family magazines, stores are having a lot of trouble keeping the Playground stocked.

Aside from the upfront cost, there is an optional subscription for the Nex Playground. For $50 quarterly or $90 yearly, you can expand the console’s library with an additional 30+ games. These feature popular IPs like Peppa Pig, Sesame Street, and Kung Fu Panda.

The Play Pass regularly updates with new games. As far as we can tell, there is no way to buy individual games. If you don’t purchase the subscription, you’ll be stuck with the basic five games that ship with each console.
