A limited number of “The Secret of Us” anniversary vinyl dropped this week
Abrams also restocked signed vinyl on her website
All of these records are reselling for around double their retail price
Gracie Abrams fans had the opportunity to pick up something special for the one year anniversary of “The Secret of Us”. Abrams partnered with Blood Records for a three-disc collection of collectable vinyl. These were a major hit with fans and resellers, and the limited number of preorders sold out fast. We’re already seeing them flip for considerable profits.
If you’re not familiar with industry plant up-and-coming popstar Gracie Abrams, let us fill you in. After releasing her debut single and supporting EP “Minor”, Abrams’ first full album “Good Riddance” in 2023 locked her into stardom and regular touring.
“The Secret of Us” dropped last year through Interscope, alongside a host of limited variants and signed vinyl in the vein of Taylor Swift. For the album’s anniversary, Blood Records has produced a celebratory and highly limited re-release.
These ship with three exclusive vinyl records, including a distinct 7″ star-shaped vinyl with three live tracks. Blood Records opened preorders for these on May 13, and only 5,000 would be produced.
“The Secret of Us” Anniversary vinyl collections sold for $80 through Blood Records and sold out fast. These would also coincide with a limited restock of “The Secret of Us” signed records through Abrams own site.
As you can probably guess, this entire collection has been very popular. For Abrams’ fans, this was their chance to throw around some cash and get a limited edition collection, signed record, or both.
Right now, “The Secret of Us” Anniversary vinyl from Blood Records is reselling for upwards of $150, while individual signed vinyl is going for around $60.
With the signed vinyl limited to two per customer, resellers that got in on both drops stand to make around $120 in profit from the entire collection.
We’ll take that every day of the week, especially when you consider it only required about ten minutes of effort to buy and sell these records.
