Sure, there’s a lot of money and fun to had flipping the conventional. Sneakers, cards, electronics; the usual stuff you’d expect to see listed on a reseller’s eBay account. But smart scalpers know that weirder flips can be even more lucrative. Earlier this week, Billie Eilish teamed up with Mattel to produce a special version of Uno that’s available for sale now. Resellers are already turning solid profits on the decks, and you still have time to snag yours. Let’s take a look.

Uno Canvas X Billie Eilish

So what does a global pop superstar do in between recording albums, touring, and headlining Fortnite Festival? Apparently, play a lot of Uno. Or at least, that’s what Billie Eilish does.

She revealed her love of the game earlier this week, and officially partnered with Mattel for a new line of Uno Canvas decks. These cards were designed by Billie herself, featuring bold artwork and her “Blohsh” logo throughout.

The decks are printed on premium 300 gram cardstock with a glossy finish, produced from the ground up as a collectible as well as a fully playable Uno set.

Billie Eilish Uno decks were available for around $20 through her official merch store and the Mattel Creations website. As of this publication, they’re currently sold out through Billie’s site but they’re still available from Mattel for $22.

These are a preorder item expected to ship in October. As a limited edition collectible, it’s not clear how many will be produced or if a restock is in the cards (ha), but the fact that they’ve already sold out through Billie’s site is a green light for resellers.

Billie Eilish Uno Resells

Speaking of which, these decks have been very popular with resellers. Like we said at the beginning, this is definitely an unusual flip, but that doesn’t make it unprofitable.

Right now, Billie Eilish Uno decks are reselling for upwards of $50, with some resellers getting nearly $80 for theirs. Because these are presale listings and the decks haven’t sold out at retail, there’s still some wiggle room left in the market. Still, this is a great start.

Even on the low end resellers stand to double their money on every deck sold. If these sales continue to hold up, a tripling or quadrupling one’s investment is possible. While these might be marketed as a collectable, Mattel has a pretty generous quantity limit so it’s easy to stock up before they sell out.

Additionally, these decks are covered under Mattel Creations’ thirty day return policy. If you buy one and it fails to resell, you can simply send it back for a full refund. That makes this flip pretty much risk-free.
